I started a nostalgia basketball comedy podcast. I'm a comedian from NYC and I love talking basketball.  Very fun stuff. Give it a listen when you have a chance.

I mean Vice is pretty successful with their slanted liberal click bait articles. Every once in awhile I'll get baited to a trash article on Twitter

@BillSimmons: Hey Grantland fans -- @ChrisRyan77 and @andygreenwald have their emotional reunion on Thursday's BS Podcast.

Can't believe WWE is giving up the vault to an outsider

This will give Vince a ton more press than anything they could do in-house though and that's smart business.

Simmons has said for years this was the one story he always wanted to do.

I'm curious as to what "the story" is going to be (as in, the angle they take). We've heard about all sorts of insane stories through other people who worked with him, and it's not like Andre is around to add anything. i'm not saying it's going to be bad, I'm just curious to see which direction they go with it.

I'm surprised Bill has been so tame against ESPN. I thought he'd hit them with that ether. All his complaints have been pretty weak.

He can't just go off on Disney he still knows people there plus right now he looks like the victim for what they did to him and Grantland if he starts mouthing off and throwing people under the bus he loses public sympathy. A lot of people don't like Bill thinking he's always whining and too pro Boston last thing he would want is for people to think ESPN had merit in letting him go.

Surprised WWE is giving Simmons access considering they now have a relationship with ESPN.

It's possible they do a more interview-type doc with everyone telling stories about him and don't use any WWE footage (maybe instead using Japan footage and things like that). But there's no way that could work and Vince HAS to sign off on this right?

A lot of stuff he hinted at and said have been proven true. Nothing more to say

He probably can't disparage them. He's been critical, but he's chosen his words very carefully. In the Gladwell podcast, all the slander was coming from him, and Bill was kind of just nodding along.

Simmons has a very good relationship with the WWE

He's a huge wrestling fan, has been for years. Whenever he attends events like Monday Night Raw or Wrestlemania they always acknowledge him on TV.

He even was a guest commentator on Raw not too long ago.

WWE giving him the green light for the Andre the Giant project isn't surprising to me.
