Nike Hyperlive 2016 (for James Harden)

I've heard mixed reviews on the PU insert in these and the Hyperchase but haven't given them a go myself - have only tried on a pair that I ended up returning

Venomenon 4 might be a better option for the comparable price.

The all star games look awesome in person, but I'd want them for ball and as everyone's said in here they feel like they'd suck.

Might just buy a pair of Kyries... although those have zero cushion as well.

I still say try them on & see for yourself. I'm getting a pair but I'm holding out for the March Madness pair.

I tried them on in the nike store but that didn't really tell me anything about how they'd perform on the court.

The only shoe that was deceiving to me was the Kobe X. I tried it on & thought, "I can't wait to get these on the court!" but I can't play in them. They feel funny on the court. No traction & the sole is too thick for me. Every other shoe I've bought has been able to go from the box straight to the court with great performance. Hopefully these will be able to for you.

Yikes.

How's the sizing?

Anybody grab these NCS

TTS. I notice that the toe box is kind of small but it should break in. THey fit exactly like the hyperchases.

tempted to pull the trigger on those all-star hyperlive

$74 sounds like a good price at NDC

how do these feel vs. the kobe 8 or 9?

nvm - so these are the hyperchase 2.0

Yeah these are basically hyperchase 2.0. I personally like how they feel and look. I wear them literally all the time.

They're stiff out of the box and the cushion is super-firm. The toe box is also a bit cramped width-wise. They break in very nicely with time though and I like their support over the Kobe 8 and 9. They're built to hold up to hours of outdoor wear. If I played indoors more, I'd probably go with a softer, more responsive shoe like the Kobe 8-11.

I really love these shoes. I bought the PG13 All Star edition one day as just a cheap shoe to wear while I was out of town playing ball and have came away so surprised with how they feel. The insole is actually really good in these, support is great, court feel is just amazing and the traction is awesome. Zero complaints about these. I'm about to grab another pair from the outlets just to wear for outdoor.

I will say that these take like 2-3 wears to feel as good as they do. But once they do I promise none of you will be disappointed in their performance. If any of you like court feel especially then I would STRONGLY recommend them.

I like playing in these more than both the Kobe 10 and 11's.
