Nike Air Jordan 4 Retro "White/Cement" - The Aftermath - NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING

Obviously were not gonna see an Identical color, material, shape, or mold of the OG, so ya give us please at least the '99 grey. But they won't for the reason of collectors who still own A DS '99 pair.

We won't get the lighter grey because the tech greys sold easily. I wish I never bought the 2012's, at first I was just happy to have a pair of cements, but after about a week I knew they were not the pair I really wanted.

gonna be more expensive in Indonesia, not to mention resellers who know how to get their hands on these before everyone else, sigh, the struggle is real.

My estimate would be $200 because that's how much the Cement '88s were but given the price increase it might be a little more.

Your sig says sneaker genius, and you really think these will fetch the same price as a shoe that dropped in '13?

Doesn't really mean anything. That was right after the Concords where everything sold immediately.

I think they do put a lighter grey. If you remember the original samples of the 4s in '12 they had grey similar to the '99s. It was changed to tech grey which was slightly darker than the '89s. It was likely done purposely from a business standpoint to keep the door open for a proper future retro.

JB adds changes to each sneaker they repeatedly retro to insure they do in fact move. We saw the Bugs 8s, Blk/Wht 9s, Playoff 8s, Red/Wht 2s struggle slightly because they rereleased in a short time frame with little changes. On the other hand, Chicago 10s add a 45, and solid red sockliner they move. All the Jordan 1s add a NA they move. The deep Infrared Pack, to finally the correct infrared 6s all moves with the same exact fomula with slight change.

So JB does these things on purpose to allow another retro.

Aside from the color match and Nike branding, I also hope they address the width of the plastic mesh with this release. I know it's a minor detail, but there's a difference between the width of the plastic mesh on the 89/99 releases and the 2012 release. It seems with all the Air Jordan IV releases after 1999, the mesh is thinner and not true to the original. It just looks cheap. I have no problem paying a premium for such a classic shoe, but please make sure it's true to form for real Air Jordan enthusiasts. Thank you.

JB is not going to push the limit for the price of a 4 even with the NA branding.  That's why I said $200, it would be ridiculous for the to price it higher than $220 (The price for the 72-10 11s).  I'm using my head and logic with this. (I respect you as a admin but this is a logical answer).

When the 88's released they were $40 over the Fire Red's from that year. I would expect the same thing to happen here, add $40 to the price of the retro 4's from this year, I'm expecting $230, possibly even more.

JB already pushed the limit for prices this year under the "remastering" scam with decent success, they'll do it again with these since they can market these as "89's" due to the N/A on the back.

You know..I think back in 05/06 we talked about how they would milk these all they could. Waited all this time for us to get NA on the back and now its finally here.

Can't wait. I'm sure they will give the 3's, 4's, 5's and 6's they same treatment in the following years. After that...what's left?

The Fresh Prince The Fresh Prince they would be willing to push up the price point though. The laser IVs are $250 retail. Not really similar but still, they will increase the retail price. Your reasoning sounds a little more hopeful/wishful than logical.

Btw, probably shouldn't have that "sneaker genius" as part of your sig. Not a good look.

I kind of get what you're saying, this is like a special edition sort of release like the '88s but I still don't think JB will push and set the price at $250 or so just for the NA branding.  The sneaker genius stays though

Price all depends on whether JB considers the return of NA a special occasion, deserving of a special price (likely)
Or JB adds the NA as part of the remaster program, because thats how the shoes were always supposed to be made (not likely)

Its works in an ironic way at this point
