San Diego trip?

Go to Stone Brewery. I'm there right now. Nice selection of alcohol and ni e garden right outside.

Went to SD last weekend with my girl. We stayed at the Andaz. Dope hotel. Hit up the Padres game too. Petco Park is legit :smokin

If you're into beers hit up stone, ballast point, or green flash they all have great beers! Lucha libre tacos, Petco park for a Padres game the park is really nice. Phils BBQ is good too if you like BBQ

Went there 2 weeks ago. Stayed within 10 minute walking distance to gaslamp. Hit up Modern Times brewery and went to 2 beaches.

Stay in gaslamp
Went to SD last weekend with my girl. Loved Gaslamp. Will be coming back again.

Fell in love with the town since I came so often for my last job. Such a different vibe than LA. Been looking for a job that would allow me to move

^Those two above plus
- Fashion Valley Mall for shopping (They have a HOH)
- Seaport Village for sightseeing and eating
- Old Town just to explore and hit up the shops with the most random stuff
- Belmont Park for the Beach
- Hit up a few of our Breweries
- SD Zoo/Balboa Park
- I would stay near the Gaslamp/Downtown area because it's closer to the places that "out of towners" would want to visit.

Agreed with staying around Mission Valley it's near everything. La Jolla shores is nice to if yall wanna hit up the beach for a nice run but there's plenty of places for that but that one is my favorite bc of the views. Torrey Pines for golf if you're into that.

like a couple others have mentioned here, if you dont visit phils BBQ, you are doing yourself a disservice,

well, since youre from texas, maybe youre used to good BBQ..

go to coronado beach!

  • Stay Downtown
  • Go to Mission Brewery
  • Hit up the 8th & G block. 5&D, Blends, 9five, RSWD are all worth checking out & while at it, grab a drink/app at Neighborhood.
  • Carne Asada Fries
  • If you go to the Zoo, grab food at Bahn Thai down the street. Someone already mentioned it here, but it is the real deal. If Thai isn't your thing, Carnitas Snack Shack and Sausage & Meats are both delicious options nearby.
  • If you're going to the beach, do Coronado. Take the ferry from downtown and grab a shuttle to the beach.
  • Hash House A Go Go is an excellent choice for breakfast as well.
  • Stone Brewery in North County is my personal favorite but it is not close at all to Downtown.

Here's what my itinerary would look like.

Day 1

-Breakfast at Hash House.
-Zoo.
-Lunch at Bahn Thai or Carnitas Snack Shack.
-Zoo
-Dinner somewhere down at Seaport Village.

Day 2

-Breakfast at World Famous
-Sea World
-Ballast Point Linda Vista
-Padres game if there is one.

Day 3

-Ferry to Coronado in the morning, grab breakfast out there.
-Head back DT, grab Carne Asada Fries at Lolitas then walk over to Mission Brewery for some beers. Head over to 8th & G and check some shops then grab drinks/dinner at Neighborhood. There is a speakeasy in Neighborhood that you have to get reservations for days in advance, if your s/o might be into that.

Gaslamp is a great area to eat, shop, and catch a film. I stay there whenever I'm in town for business. Catch a Dres' game if you have time. You can catch the train to surrounding areas.

The airport is horrible, but SD is one of my favorite cities in the country.
