What are we looking for here? If we're going to dissect plays like this, there's a good chance we can find something "egregious" with just about every tackle made on the professional level on a QB.

After Ben is taken down Vontaze repositions his body on top of him and that left knee goes into the shoulder as the camera cuts away. If Ben didn't comment on it, then it couldn't have been that bad. I haven't heard any of the players really comment on it

couldn't care less why people root for who they root for as long as they aren't changing every few years. is it easier to build a connection with a local team? sure it is. you can go to more games. you see them on the news constantly. etc etc. does that make you more of a fan? **** no it doesn't. it's tougher to root for a team and stay committed when you're not local...so i actually give those fans more props for staying true. it's like a god damn long distance relationship. and we all know how tough those are

Where ya at again? I always forget. I know it's not with the chumps up north :rolleyes .

I'm hoping by tomorrow the media begins to look ahead. Haven't heard a peep on the next games

NFC games look great

Dan Lebatard is ripping folks for how they jumped on the Bengals players. Said it was equivalent to how MIA U was ripped getting all those penalty yards back in the day. Basically saying there's a big racial aspect to the reaction that's gone overboard. Barely any mention of the Steelers coach that was out of control grabbing dudes dreads. Marvin can't control his players narrative when coaches like Parcells are celebrated although LT ran a muck. So on and so forth.
I agree with everything except the racial aspect. It's more of stereotypes of teams, like say whenever a Steelers or Raiders player makes a dirty hit, people call that a "good hard tackle" and don't get criticized as much as a player from another team. Truth is every team got a dirty player and it's part of the game.

Im not superstitious but I am a little stitious. Recently losing to the cardinals has to give us better odds of winning this week than if we had recently beat them.

It cuts away too quick, but in the broadcast you get a better sense of it, he squares that shoulder up pretty good.

job related or you just said F it, I am going to the west coast?

sorta both. always wanted to live out west. talked to my CFO at the time and he was like, "if you wait two months, we'll move you out there. can't tell you more than that". trusted him. ended up that we were buying a start up in Palo Alto so the day after it got announced, he called me and was like, "pack up. you're running finance out there." worked out great.

and then 4 months later, i jumped ship to one of the big tech companies out here. been here ever since :pimp:

Switch out Raiders with Ravens and I agree

I wanted to say Cali. I commend you for keeping up with EST for all the games.

that's sweet, I was close to moving to San Diego back in 2011, sure as hell wish I would have just done it

Burfict was just trying to get up, nothing more. The AB hit was def a dirty shot but Ben just got his clock cleaned on that play, nothing more, nothing less.

my DVR works overtime

gotta say though, watching sports (especially football) on PST > *

never too late, man.

easier said than done, i know. but if you got the itch...go for it

I'm not a believer in the Panthers as a SB threat, and Seattle was a botched FG away from being done. And Carolina is certainly better than Minny.

So I don't know.

KC/NE? I want Chiefs, but it will be NE.

Burgh has no chance w/ Ben hurt, and if Cincy played choir boy for everyone, Steelers are done. Gimme Denver.

Palmer/Arod? I'll go Arod.

with Ben hurt and AB a possible no go...gotta say Denver, right?

if they both play, I like Pit

It's not the Steelers O that's the problem, it's the defense. Any good quarterback is going to pick them a part and put more stress on the O to score, which leads to Ben trying to extend plays too long, which leads to sacks or interceptions.

Thing is, we don't know which Peyton Manning is going to show up, so that's up in the air. If you get over-thinking Peyton, Steelers have a chance, if you get the puppet master Peyton, not even Nationwide is on the Steelers' side.
