Lambeau Field is the last place that would go for any "smart" renovations. The selling point of the stadium is its history and tradition.

It wouldn't make sense for Coughlin to go to the Eagles. Their basically starting over again, he's gonna have to clean up Chip Kelly's mess. Coughlin to old for that.

Not really.. there are pieces there.. depth at certain spots..

But they need to let bradford walk.. along with certain other players

With 2 strong drafts I think we can be solid again.. but the most important thing is finally solidifying the qb spot (which was one of the most important aspects to red's success, landing McNabb early)

Just heard Amy Trask on the radio talking about the future of NFL stadiums and she said some VERY interesting things.

The NFL is thinking about smaller stadiums. Maybe getting rid of the third deck, cutting down the number of seats in the stadium by a large amount. Making it more intimate. Adding tablets or some sort of TVs behind every chair and the ability to watch replays and multiple angles. Chairs with more space and able to turn or spin.
Sounds like they'll be asking for a new Metlife when it's outdated in 10 years.

With 2 strong drafts and a solid QB, any team is going to be "solid again".

Where is dude at that said he would bet anyone $50 that wherever Hue goes, they will have a "better record than the raiders"

Hahaha.

Right here, it's the ******* Raiders who just alienated their fan base by trying to move.

I still like the odds

Lambeau is never ever getting rid of the bleachers and they just added 10k seats. They've been renovating for years now and are continuing to do so without any "smart" additions or whatever. Maybe there will be some of that stuff elsewhere in the Title Town district they planned all around and outside of the stadium but it wont be inside the stadium.

Chris Long looks like Kevin Loves twin.

read an article how kubes gave the 2nd string guys more reps early in the spring/summer. starters didnt like it at first. all the injuries that denver has had and they managed to still get the 1 seed and more rotations are keeping everyone in the loop and fresh. i am almost sure that if fox was coach this season this team would of self imploded. kubes has done a phenomenal job with the injuries and tribulations they have endured so far. i like what he has done with this team.

 sweet hopefully this means we have to pony up for new stadiums again

I can see it now.... "Jerry Jones tells county he has deal in place to move to San Antonio unless he gets a new 40,000-seat smart stadium."

All jokes aside, the last decade or so has essentially given a new stadium (or enhancements) to nearly every team. And L.A. is close to being full. Because of all this you can bet Roger and his cronies are huddling together brainstorming about what new threats they are going to have to come up with in the future to scare every city...I'm on pins and needles waiting.

my simple point is, is best exemplified by our offense line needs:

we have a young player on our team, lane Johnson, who will be our left tackle long term (the hardest position to fill along the Oline).. our need(s) is/are primarily at guard (both spots which we can address after the 1st and into the middle rounds of the draft).. we need to trade Jason peters while he still has value around the league (somehow he made the all pro team)

but our big need on the whole team is QB.. the other 'need' spots can be addressed wherever you are in the first or later in the draft

I just don't see how that sets you apart from any of the other non-playoff teams in the league.

A QB and two drafts where everyone pans out will address every squads needs, but it doesn't always happen that way.  The Eagles aren't bottom level talent but there's still a lot of work to be done after what Chip did.

I think it was Darren revel on lebatard this morning saying that basically la will only have the Rams. He thinks the Chargers will stay in San Diego. He couldn't figure out why kronke would want to share a revenue stream with another team. He was also saying that if there are two teams, then ticket sales for the Rams would go down. He thinks they will stay in San Diego.

this gets blown out of proportion..

of the players that got cut during chip's tenure only 3 will be starters next season: maclin, shady and desean

there are a fair amount who could possible be out of the league or retired

RBs can be had from the 2nd round on in the draft (and demarco is one of the players we need to get rid of as soon as possible).. and I wouldn't right agholor off after a subpar rookie year (hell, how many hall of fame WRs could we easily say had subpar rookie years)

I'm not writing anyone off, I'm just saying the Eagles have lots of holes and roster issues and there's no guarantee that 2 drafts will go well or that you'll be able to find a QB.  They aren't swimming in assets either.

What's good with that $200 bet you made a few months ago?

IF I was in charge of the eagles.. I trade Jason peters and connor barwin for what I can get

i let cedric thronton walk to a 3-4 team.. and Bradford walk.. we can pick up 2 compensatory picks from both

move to a 4-3.. we have our starting two DTs on the roster (fletcher and logan).. we know hicks is a solid MLB, and kendricks will be good as a WILL.. just have to hope kiko can play SAM after a year back from his knee injury

vinny curry and graham are solid 4-3 DEs

our needs on defense are doable.. which is my point

the Eagles D will be vastly improved next year when they switch back to the 4-3 and they aren't on the field all the time

Chip's tempo was clearly figured out by this league

What's the rivalry like with the Rams and Chiefs?

I can honestly say that the majority of Cali thinks the Chiefs play in the state of Kansas. Lol.

But who do Rams fan cheer for now? The colts?
