SO I GOT BANNED FOR NOT TIPPING LOL

also the they should find a better job can be countered with move to a place where tips aren't required. it is quite narrow minded to see that there is a simple solution to this issue
yea cuz tipping is REQUIRED in America...

I wouldn't want them to move.
Cheap people can live in this country. Might not be classiest of people, but I take the good with the bad.

Putting the racial issues aside its STILL a win/win eliminating the tipping system. How can you refute this?

Win/win for who? Probably just for team No-tip and not even, eliminate tips, increase food prices so those 3$ extra dollars now become part of your meal plus more, so now our dining experience is more expensive so that restaurant owners can cover their losses when increasing pay...now think about the cost of living in major cities....even doubling min wage, which lets be serious IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN....this still often times doesn't equate to a live able wage specially in bigger cities....inb4 "well then move to a cheaper city, you beggar" :smh:

i do im just saying the counter argument. i think the best thing for situations like this is meet half way but we have a lot of hard heads here

non tippers in here not caring and not breaking a sweat while these dudes are on a mission to shame fools into oblivion

Its easy to advocate not tipping... Till you're in a restaurant full of folks tippin w/ their order & da non tipper's food goin cold in da kitchen.

I just hope ya not bring dates and embarrassing her too

why would anyone tip with cash when its like two buttons to tip with a card?

i dont even carry cash around anymore
im saying if it's a group which is what you were saying
yeah im saying I dont see why not tipping while out with a group is an issue

i have no idea how much money the people I eat with tip and they have no idea how much I tip

this is what I've been saying. where the hell are people living off of minimum wage?!

It don't matter wether tipping in a group is an issue or not.
What matters is how do you look at yourselves in the mirror.
Where is your moral code...as a man?

So what you're saying is that you want to be cheap at the expense of others. Gotcha.

I'm all for removing the tipping system as its stupid IMO anyways.
Ok my bill goes up a bit but it's not like it's going up significantly. The non tippers are the ones that would be most affected. Not me.

I'll continue tipping until I hear that the system has been abolished in the mean time.

that why you split whatever the 15% is, that's probably why groups of 4+ get automatically charged the tip in the bill

Exactly. Pay 15-20% for what you ate and I'll pay 0% for what I ate and everybody leaves happy.

ya ask for individual bills when ya go out? Classic of cheap penny pinching individuals.

Do you fams....what more can I say

wait you dont ask the waiter to split the bill for you?

its pretty standard if you're eating out in a group

My issues are not with paying excessive money, for the most part this is what ever anti-tipping person has said in EVERRY TIPPING THREAD.

 yeah I don't get down with that either. It's not that serious.

I think a lot of this thread is mad young. At least I hope so. Also I'm gathering most keep it to very basic places to eat. Major chains etc.

I don't know about ya, but when I go out in a social gathering we get 1 bill and do the math, if it's amongst couples, the males split the whole thing EVENLY no matter if my girl ordered 1 drink and my boys girl ordered 3....of its out with my dudes we roughly calculate what we ate and split....then we also calculate the tip and we all split that evenly.

Hell sometimes the bill is placed on one card and then we either QP or hand cash to the card holder.

if its automatically charged then it will already show up on my bill and there's no need to manually split anything. just pay what it says on the bill

Eating in a group and 10 people splitting the bill ain't the type of dinners I want to be part of.

Sounding like a bunch of stiff people gettin together. I bet ya talk about the weather.

No need to ask for an individual bill. You know what you ordered, you know the price. Tip for what you ate. Waiter still gets money. Win win.

Corporate dinner boys.

Just divide it by the people paying evenly. Who gives a damn if someone pays an extra couple bucks.
