Okay in search of the shattered backboard I encountered a lot of fakes. Here is difference between unauthorized and real authentic pair. The color is the same they only look different because of the lighting. Before I start to break this down let me explain to everyone about my trip to China last year.

While in China I see all the bootleg Jordan's they sell them at almost everywhere and all quality are usually different. You got people there who searches for the best quality they can find and resell them to people in the U.S. I seen great pairs which you can't even tell the difference at all. Those pairs get sold as authentic because it really is I believe those pairs got made in the actual Nike factory by the employees after hour to earn more money because they make penny's on the dollar out there. Those pairs you will not find a single flaw.

Now let's get into the unauthorized pairs. Those are other companies trying to copycat so you'll always see minor flaws but they're getting so good its hard to tell the difference. For example, the flaws I describe below with the pics are already getting fixed today. For example, I came across a guy selling fakes on craigslist & his pair had the gap below the Nike on the tongue but these unauthorized do not have them. Also, that guys fakes had great accurate holes same ailments as the authentic unlike these pair below. I was shocked that even the shape on the back of his shoe was right.

Those companies in China are constantly fixing the shoe so this weeks unauthorized could be a lot different next week with constant improvements. The best thing to look out for is the leather feel is way off and the shoe box. 10 years from now imagine what those rep companies are gonna become.

Okay let's start.....The picture below is the Nike tag on the tongue. There's no space below. However, I did see a pair of fakes where that problem was fixed so beware.

Picture below you can see that the shape is off. On the authentic its smaller at the bottom then fatter at the top. On the unauthorized pair its pretty much same size from the bottom to the top. As I mentioned before I seen a fake with correct shape but for the most part I'll say 85% of fakes will not have the correct shape.

Now here is a good one. You see below how the holes line up with bottom portion of the shoe but the unauthorized it doesn't line up.

Below, Look at how the top orange panel is cut clean and straight on the retail pair, but that same panel is more cut on a curve [on the unauthorized pair]

There's more but I'll leave it at that. Always focus on the box because its never accurate. That something they never get right which is pretty shocking since its way easier to clone then the shoe lol However, if you don't have a shoe box to compare with you probably can't even tell the difference. One thing I'm gonna say is I have not yet to see 1 pair and I seen many fake shattered backboard that has the correct thread on the side of the shoe where it goes above the Nike sign. So far I believe all reps threads sewing go straight to the Nike sign on the side but I know China will fix that like they did for the Chicago Retro 1 2015 unauthorized authentics. Thank you for reading!
