[COLOR=#red]Let me show you how dumb you sound lol. This is what you get for following the crowd instead of knowing the facts. I never claimed to have a purple heart, how could I? I was a civilian that deployed to Afghanistan. That was just a joke that was made up about me. Princess Yambs? Nah bruh, she was the daughter of the Sultan of Brunei, and yes she was at Sportslife (now closed) in Marrietta, and yes one of her security guards lifted the bar off my chest after I got stuck. I hooped while in jail big deal.
As far as geology goes, I'm only in it to be a petroleum geologist. I did an internship for one of the majors this summer. To offset the low price of oil some majors are laying off, while some are not hiring ie a hiring freeze. No type of geologist makes more than a petroleum geologist with a Masters Degree right out of school. My exact position entry level makes $119,000 a year STARTING OUT.
Most people think you can only, or have to only work in the field your major is in. Not necessarily true.
Maybe instead of unsuccessfully trying to check me, you should IM me and maybe learn a little something small fry

was the harsh 2 day jail sentence before or after you got the government job ? sure as hell know no government job is going to hire after having a record.
if you are only in it to be a petroleum geologist you are limiting yourself. there are other fields such as mineral mining, hydro, astro, and geo physicists to name a few.
bro you are pushing 40's and you're still getting internships ? not that there is anything wrong with that but you have a geo degree (at least you claim) that pays $120,000 off the bat yet you don't have that job? but you want to start a drone agricultural business ? seems like you have scattered brain which can not focus.

If you are a geologist, excuse me if you are an intelligent geologist then you'd know that the price of a barrel of oil is around $42 which is almost $60 down from what it was a year ago this time when it was hovering around $100 per barrel. You'd know that even some of the majors like Chevron, ConocoPhillips, and Shell (layed off 6500 people), have layed people off due to the downturn in the industry. You'd also know that under $60 per barrel makes unconventional hydrocarbon extraction (in this case the hydraulic fracturing of shale) a lot less profitable. The oil industry is going through a downturn due to Saudi Arabia continuing to flood the market with oil creating more supply than demand, and in a commodity driven market like oil that means the prices go down considerably. A great thing for consumers, not so good for the industry. Anyway I would do both simultaneously anyway even if the industry was still poppin. Is there a law against getting more money?
But see this is the type of stuff I know going to one of the top ranked Petro Geo programs in the Nation as well as working an internship this summer for one of the supermajor oil companies. Wonder what your credentials are Mr. Geo.
