It happened around game 2 of the 2nd round last year. I will never forget because back in 2007, the Warriors beat the #1 seed Dallas, Dirk had to accept his MVP trophy shortly after getting bounced out of the playoffs.

Yup, he received the award during round 2 game 2 against Memphis. I remember because I was there wearing the MVP's and we lost, so I vowed never to wear those shoes during the playoffs again lol. So an MVP announcement should be coming very soon.

Only day 1 sell out will be the MVP's and maybe the batmans. I don't see any other releases selling out day 1, but the some of the more popular colorways may sell out within a couple weeks.
