NT's All Time NBA ReDraft Thread: GR8 Write Up Page 187, Bracket Final Vote

Jason Williams, PG.
Please slide Derrick Rose to the Bench.

Good luck to any of your PG's who want to try to guard White Chocolate in his prime. :pimp:

This is what he did to The Glove's knees.

Peep Payton's face at the end.

But if we're just looking at peak/single year/shorter time frames, what does the body of work really matter?

Some people are looking at the draft that way.
Others are looking at careers as a whole.
Some are drafting based on potential.

Honestly, it's up to the individual. It's THEIR team and they can draft how they wish. /shrug

cant wait for some guy this year to put up 13-8-6 and have someone try to convince me that its a historical season for some reason

For example, BHZ has a solid defensive squad, but I look at it, and think he would still struggle to score some points. Payton is good, but not elite as a shooter. Ron? I mean...... He can bully, but I don't want him spotting up. Roy, sort of negates what Payton offers, because Roy needed the ball in his hands. Payton isn't going to be out there feeding "shooters" like Roy and Ron, right?

Karl can score, no doubt, Payton is gonna run the pick and roll with him, same as Stock did? :nerd:

Every game going to be in the 80's and Payton, Roy and Karl were still good/great scorers. Plus, I'll address a few things with my later picks :nerd:

I honestly don't see them struggling to score, though. Payton was the leader of one of the fastest offenses in the 90's and an underrated facilitator. The benefit of having both he and Roy in the backcourt is that either player can run the pick n roll, while Roy is a good enough shooter to spot up as well. Plus, it just gives me some versatility based on what I do with the bench in the upcoming rounds. You gonna see me work plehboi :pimp:

I'm already over this draft. Can't wait till the baseball one starts.

We consistently have legends talked down on because of the era they played in while hyping up guys for playing in an era that's terry cloth, full of selfishness, flopping and lackadaisical defense. It's ridiculous.

Jason Williams isn't a good pick but keep the crowd entertained I guess...

My pick: Thunder Dan Majerle

Premier 3 & D guy on a Suns team that really was a predecessor to the small ball we see today. Dan gives me an elite three point shooter combined with All-NBA caliber defense.

Dude thinks his basketball opinion is gods gift to earth.

Shut the hell up as let us pick.

Half the dudes on your own squad are boring as duck and none of us would ever pay to go watch them play ball.

So address your own **** before you critique others teams

Dan was gonna be my guy. Nice pick.

Make no mistake, I did not intend to say your team isn't good, or any of that. You have a helluva squad, and I have no doubt you will finish it off strong. I was simply speaking stylistically.

Roy isn't really a "knockdown" shooter, off the catch. Nor is Payton. So you kind of render one of them useless in a given set. Defensively, I'm playin off the one without the ball, DARING him to catch and shoot. That's how I attack you.

Granted, having both gives you the versatility and depth to use either or, I was just using your team as an example of fits and such. I probably should have just used a made up example like I did with AI, Kobe, Melo, etc.

Wow Jason Williams.

I'm trying to be less negataive so I'll keep quiet.

I don't want your lame *** opinion so yes please shut the asterisk up.
