You're definitely condescending, no question. But on the flipside, it's too easy for religious folks to write off others opinions. Humans can be so stubborn and unreceptive, stunts our growth. Both sides of the argument could learn some humility. I think you guys enjoy the argumentative cycle.

Funny thing about written text is that the reader creates the tone.

Learn humility? Humility in what? Asking questions, wanting proof, seeking evidence......... But seek humility? Tell me, who's stubborn, the person who thinks they already know the answer to all the questions or the person seeking all the answers? Please, let me know.

their is no guarantee in the "long run"
TO YOU!

You can live your life wreckless and not believing in anything. That is your choice.

But the reason why we give offering and tithe is to thank our father for all his many mercies he has granted.

It will pay off in the long run.

i know of a church that you have to turn in a copy of your w2's

pastor drives a RR phantom too.
:x :smh:
Makes it worse when they're in a extremely poor neighborhood taking from large poor families and poor retirees.

Pastor gotta eat too b

If you're offended that's says more about you than what I'm saying. These "slick" comments are facts.

"You think you're smarter than people", meh, again, says more about you than what I'm actually saying
Whenever someone uses those type of statements

"You think you are smarter than me"

"You talk to me like I am stupid."

Those are self-reflection statements. I am sure there is NO amount of talking down that Homer Simpson could have done to Aristotle to make him feel like he is stupid.

So when someone says that, they just might feel intellectually inferior from the jump and they don't need you reminding them of it

He's right. There is no guarantee. There is no convincing evidence that god does or does not exist.

Believing or not is your choice but there is absolutely no guarantee that it serves any point.

Lol this went over heads.
This.

For real lol.

When I was a kid all the church folks would go to Golden Corral after service. Don't know if Golden Corral is only in the South so that may be why people ain't get it lol.

That **** is trash tho I used to hate going there. First plate coo because you hungry and then it start tasting like dog food.

The accuracy  we used to go to GC or Western Sizzlin or a Chinese buffet when we got out.

The most rewarding part of being a Jehovah's Witness was the food after I slept through half the service.

word, the U.S. needs to smarten up, do you know how much revenue they would generate.

"We don't have enough money to renovate dilapidated school"

Meanwhile

Pastor dollars: "just a million more for my...... I mean gods jet my people! You get forgiveness, you get forgiveness, you get forgiveness !!!!"

Oh the hood is literally around the corner, now that I think about it the church is surrounded by 3 different hoods.

Hell no

Son would start a fundraiser to get a hemi to spread the word.

Nike boxes all up in the aisles.

EWD would make a good pastor.
