To me what made the Kyrie 1 great was the comfort, the overall clean look of the model, and the ability to rock them casually. We don't know about the comfort yet but with that strap I don't know if they are gonna look good wearing them casually around

LeBron 13's > Kyrie 2's. These are okay though. I think the 1's are better. I still need to see full detailed pics.

I hate all Lebron 13 cept the 13 Halloween because the weird shape thing is white just like rest of the shoe. rest of the 13s are poopoo.
still not sold on the kyrie 2, big fan of the 1s. without the strap, it is quite similar to the 1 tho.

Hmmm the whole Kyrie 2 line (which hasn't released yet) is a disappointment? The tongue is too thick or does it look too thick in pictures, because as far as I know nobody in this thread has a personal pair or has tried on the shoe yet. The materials on the shoe look practically identical to the Kyrie 1's just with an added strap and the back portion. If the Kyrie 2 is not for you and you won't be doing the notorious "Niketalk Turn" once the shoe drops that's fine. But if your on the fence about the shoe I'd personally wait to see what else is in store for the 2's.
SN: Also I guess no one in this thread who doesn't like the Kyrie 2 because of the "strap" will be purchasing the Aqua Jordan 8's or atempting to purchase a pair of the Yeezy 750 boost that drop on Black Friday because the both of those shoes have straps on them so they can't be worn casual either right...

My bad I meant that red piece of sole not the tongue. Just a matter of taste I guess I do not like straps... Yeezys, Jordan or whatever they re just not for me and I meant the 3 signature models (KD8, LBJ 13 and these) not the whole Kyrie line, Now I really like that combination of yellow and wine colors, always nice to see those.

Oh your good and I understood what you meant by the 3 signature models also (Lebron, KD, Kyrie) I wasn't talking about anyone specifically that's why I didn't quote anyone. The strap doesn't bother me as much as the huge blank space on the side and the oversized logo on the tongue.

Honestly, if the medial/lateral were reversed, I could be in on these, but I guess they would look irrefutably like KD4 clones. Still, the design is a little lacking. Following up that iconic-ish "teeth" outsole, with these wavy lines is just a little uninspired. Not really feeling the bubblebutt rear of the shoe, a-la-KD8.
Still, I loved the 1s, so maybe I'll come around once we see better pics/more colorways.
