OP. Disregard everyone's comments, however you kind of did set yourself up for the jokes.
Unfortunately there are no serial numbers unique for EACH shoe. That would be crazy.
I personally would deconstruct the thiefs face, but that's obviously not an option here for you.
Best chance you got is calling the cops (I can't believe I'm saying that) and trying to have as much evidence as you can to help them get your shoes back. However unless he broke into your house or car or something like that, or unless you can prove they are yours, I do no see the police being much help.

Cops will be zero help unless you can provide receipts for each with value and it adds up to over $1,000 I believe.
Even with that the guy will basically get away with it unless you have it on camera that the person took it..
This coming from someone who got their house broken into years ago..Cops were useless but in awe of all the sneakers.
