Always wondered this

On television shows you always see the woman of the house put the man of the house to sleep on the couch for whatever reason may be (infidelity, arguments and whatever)

Now I wanted to know...is this JUST on TV?
Has this happened to any of yall in real life?
I don't know about yall, but Ill be damned if my girl tries to put me to sleep on my couch (which I paid for) in my house (which I pay for) while she sleeps on my bed (which I paid for).

Now if it's the girlfriends house and property, I STILL don't understand that, B. Im looking at the front door before shorty even thinks to utter those "sleep on the couch" words. Naw baby, I'm not gon be able to do it.

Now let me flip the script, turn it around and throw it back at yall...have YALL ever put a girl on the couch to sleep? Or even kicked your girl, significant other out of your house?

I don't understand the whole "dog house" thing at all, NT fam.

-Never seen this with any of my family or friends.

They always cite the same reason, it is the man's house too, how can you tell him he can't sleep in his own bed

With the only serious GF I ever lived with I would willing volunteer to sleep on the couch sometimes.

Rather be playing Halo at 1am than being awaken by an agree woman that can't let an argument go until morning.

It works both ways. Sometimes you need space from that creature that's in your bed. But her *** be on the couch as well.
It's always good to sleep on good terms though.

I made a girl sleep on the floor before. And kicked my BM as well as current girl out.

I'm not sleeping on the couch on purpose.... Just no.

If you share a place and one is cheating (and gets caught), it's acceptable to suggest you wouldn't want to sleep next to the cheater, and the cheater should abide. Beyond that, hell no.

In that case, I'd kick shorty out my crib. No questions asked, pa. I don't care where she sleeps that night, it damn sure won't be in my house. At the point where you let another man enter you, all love I have for you goes straight out the window

Been married for 15 and with the same girl for 21 years. I have never been told or volunteered to sleep on Rooms to Go living room collection. She has, but not because I made her or asked. She just will do it if she's that upset or if I'm snoring too loud from working too hard after a hard day at work so I can provide for the Vandelay household.

So the cheater gets caught and then continues to sleep in that bed?

I don't know who would willingly take this massive L. Have some dignity and kick the cheater (him/her) out.

Wut? No. Cheater gets caught and should take the couch for a few days until they (the cheater) can find a new place to live.

My wife actually gets mad when I sleep on the couch[emoji]128518[/emoji][emoji]128518[/emoji]
But even when we are mad or upset, we sleep in the same bed.
I usually fall asleep on the couch due to my insomnia or up late studying but I never volunteer to do so.
Now my ex was a different story.
Crazy ***[emoji]128518[/emoji]

I've volunteered to do this on my own accord, never forced. My girl hates it and always asks me to come back to bed.

I actually don't mind sleeping on the couch cause our sectional is A1. I fall asleep watching Netflix at least a couple times month

Nah few times my wife has gotten mad and went off and slept on the couch herself but that's on her own accord. She's never tried to put me on the couch.

Naw never the couch but I send my fiance to the spare bedroom a few times a year over stupid arguments she can't let go of, or sometimes if I'm snoring and she has to get up early she'll go in there. Never the couch tho

My mom used to do it to my Dad all the time when he would come home hammered  I would usually take advantage and convince him to give me money
