Yolu're being extreme. Obviously if he averages 5 points and 2 rebounds in theory, that would be a "failure." 

There's nothing to discuss if you're going to reach for that extreme.

He was injured and still averaged over 16 points and over 13 rebounds in the postseason last year for a team that went to the WCF. And provided elite defense and rim protection. That's not "20 & 15" but he had a HUGE impact on The Rocket's success and that is the point. You have to be fluid in your statistical expectations and last postseason was a prime example.

for example , klay thompson starts averaging good numbers , hated on .....draymond green gets his presence felt and becomes popular , hated on ...........waiting for the curry slander any minute now after a down game

Bruh, he dropped 10 pts in average but his impact on winning was pretty much the same. Plus they went further in the postseason the year his playoff numbers "dropped 10 points."

he had surgery right after so I think we can forgive the 10 point drop.


Also he missed so much of the season he wasn't integrated into the offense as he was the year before.
 
dwight smiles too much but harden is 100 times the clown that dwight is

if you replace james harden with any top 10 sg the rockets are better off

You gotta be trolling. So 26 & 14 is good for you if you lose in the first round. But 16 & 14 is bad if you lose in the conference finals?

Harden let Dwight down. It's the other way around really. I'm done man. Once you realize you're arguing with a wall, there's no purpose in continuing.
 
yeah ......hardens the inefficient scrub , its hard for me to hate on a player but when you earn millions and "star" player accolades and play the defense that james harden and kevin love play.......im not rooting for you .

An you have MADE MY POINT. When I said 20 & 15 last year he dropped 19 and lost by 1. Had he done his damn job those 10 points would have advanced them.

How you can pick these numbers out, and not account for context is beyond me. I give up. 
 
Y'all will be the same dudes when he gets eliminated sitting at the podium talking about how he still a winner that will crush him at years end. I'll be waiting for it.

Last thing I'll say. And I'm out. The guy who is widely considered the best center in the NBA now (Marc Gasol), shot 35% from the field against the same Warriors the round before.

And posting points without context at all? You're a lost one mane. Stick to wizards talk. Seriously. The rest of the NBA is not for you.
