Why does he sound like he's crying

Players have to like and or respect you. That's probably more important than wins and losses especially with a team that's good enough to get to the playoffs with no coach at all. It's a player's league, period.

Because he got fired for nothing. He did exactly what he was supposed to do with that team, and hardly any coach could have changed the outcome of the Finals or how this season has gone. He got fired cause LeBron doesnt like him.

If the best player doesn't respect you, that's not "nothing". Let's not act like he did anything special with that roster. You're not coaching theory or strategy, you're coaching players and therefore you need people skills. Without it you won't be an effective leader of men. Any idiot in this thread can say coach x needs to do y with team z. The game itself is simple enough. Getting players to buy in and actually do it is the hard part.

Imagine if MJ choked like Lebron, maybe he would be asking someone else to shoot it.

I'm not even trying to defend lebron, that's just idiotic coaching. You clearly have never been in a leadership position. You can't come in with no clout and start trying to make boss moves. Your first order of business should be to earn the respect of the leader of the pack and Blatt obviously never did that which is why he's out the door.

Curious how Cle comes out tonight for Lue versus how it's been. Also, on the heels of Kerr being back for the W's who looked refreshed as a result

Blatt just needs a year or two as a lead assistant on a top tier team and he'll be fine
