Why would Kobe in his right mind try out for the olympics

Lol, he has the good sense to know he's washed. If he makes the team and he ends up playing badly on that stage, that'd be incredibly embarrassing. I'm sure that crossed his mind. Better to leave the Olympics alone and let his fans imagine the 'what ifs'

When you talk about "guard skills" for a big...you're talking about Bron, KD, Dray, LO...what we will see from Ben Simmons in the league. Guard skills means P&R instincts...passing instincts, fluidity with the ball, when to pull the rock out and reset etc etc.

Just because a big can bust out sometimes, shoot and hit the occasional cross...doesn't mean he has "guard skills". That means he is a "skilled big". Which is what Kristaps, AD and Shaq (who was just mentioned as having guard skills when he came to the league :lol:) have.

I agree with this. but I'm still sad. I was hoping he's leave on a positive note. It's bad enough he's smiling all the time and being friendly to everybody.I hate that **** the most lol

I'm so impressed with him.

He was milking Lebron a couple years back.

Disagree with Shaq having guard skills. He could handle it well for a big. But those aren't "guard skills".
 
The one thing I can respect about Kobe is that he played 20 seasons and is retiring with the same team he played for when he was a rookie

The longer you play, the more likely you're playing for a different team lol so that's pretty cool

Heat ain't a contender with or without Goran. Thunder are washing a decent East team on the end of a long road trip. Doesn't tell you much.
