I don't think these are limited. My FTL got them and we NEVER receive anything limited. In fact, we didn't get any of the previous Blk/Rd, Royals, Chicagos, Black Toe, or Metallic 1 releases. We didn't even get the Ying/Yang pack.

The red tumbled leather is very soft, but the black smooth leather feels like any other basic leather that you'll find on most Jordan 1 Mid GRs. With that said, I expect them to sell similar to the Flu Games. We're already getting calls at my store asking if we'll have them.

You basically bring along with you you're best tapered jeans and tell them you want them exactly like those. If you don't have any then they may tell you to try em on and demonstrate how tapered you want em or ask how many inches you want the leg opening. I usually do between a 4 3/4in-5 1/4in leg opening at the bottom seam. Works for me. Hope this helps.

The tailor then pins your jeans from the knee (or higher) down to the leg opening while you have them tried on so that the taper fits your calves. I've gone in numerous times, I think 6"-6.5" is a nice, safe taper these days. For reference, I'm 5'7/155lb, 31x30 pants. According to the product description on the 512's, the leg opening is 6.375" for a size 32 which is actually really good off the rack. The 508's, 522's, and 511's are all much wider, ranging from 6.5-7" at the bottom (from my experience).

Thanks for the input y'all. Yea I got big calves too and the new 512s fit nice off the rack but wouldn't mind a tighter taper either.
Don't keep up daily and 10 pages zoom by! I'm glad to read that these are gonna be somewhat easy? 2 more weeks fam!
 
It seems like JB stopped giving a damn about keeping things as limited as they used too. I am in Boston and there are still FSR of metallic 5s sitting everywhere- this would have been unheard of in 2013. So many people have hopped on the adidas ultra boost and nmd train.

I for one am not mad. JB's goal more than ever seems to be to make as much money as possible and they know that regardless of "hype" or perception that they are gonna do exactly that.

I am super confident we will all eat when these come out. Very soon we will see all the foot site launch locators and we will laugh our ***** off in victory.
 
These will be limited stock, just like every og color 1
2-4 of every size, looking at a stock of around 30 pairs total
I would say same amount of pairs allocated to stores as the Chicago 1s

Well in 2011 there were FSRs of BM5s on shelves all through MA too. Those might not be the best example

I'm seeing stores that didn't receive Chicago 1s receive these.

The leather IS synthetic, that's how they keep the shoes priced at $160. Matter of fact, majority of athletic brands nowadays use synthetic leather to keep the prices so low. The only way you're gonna find real leather shoes are on $500+ dress shoes.

You can see the fibers where the red portion was cut. It's real leather. I don't know where you're getting this $500 stuff from. Not all leather is good leather, but it doesn't make it synthetic just because it's not as high of quality as a high end brand shoe. You're right about durabuck though.

I'm basing stock numbers off a very huge store who revived 300+ pairs every 12 release this year to only getting 30 pairs of bred 1s.
Ability to cop will be based on the demand in your area

Well these will be everywhere. Waits for all the bandwagoners and resellers to drop out. Ndc will probably have a good amount for me to score at least 1.

You can't compare a mass GR 12 release to an OG 1. Granted, there will definitely be more of these Bred 1s than previous OG 1s but they're completely different levels.
