is food really killing us? vol. vegan

^^^youtube "how to slaughter a pig"

The one with a million views.

The one with the sledgehammer

 that's how you do it with pigs one shot to the head. Not really a more humane way to do it.

I've raised some, they were pasture raised though and fed them veggies from my boys farm. My friend got them from an operation like you were talking about though as some feeders and we just raised them up for 6 months. Those guys tweaked when they got let go in the pasture. Like they didn't know what grass was so they were scared to walk. Then when they figured out they were good they were running everywhere like puppies.

Never again. Pigs suck to raise, they aren't worth a damn when you go to sell them. They are smart as hell so it's a huge pain to round them up and they smell horrible.

The cows are way easier to manage. Give them some hay and water and pasture off some land and you don't even need to feed them since they just mow down the grass of you got the land for it. Also way easier to move around than pigs. They just follow the leader.

Nt farmers. :pimp:

Edit. Not going to YouTube that but people who do that stuff are questionable. I hate when it comes time to slaughter but you got to do it. It's not fun no matter how many times you do it. I don't like killing stuff but it's part of the deal.

There was an episode of parts unknown with anthony bourdain where a tribe killed a baby goat for supper.

As a guest he was asked to "do the honors"
The tribe values the blood of goats a great deal so bourdain was instructed to strangle it to death with his bear hands.

I dunno if i could do it.

Thats the one thing that makes me want to give up pork. Pigs are smart. They actually make good pets. And know death is coming. Cows are dumb and walk right to their death

Part of the reason we're seeing a spike in cancer and other diseases is because we're living long enough to get them. Look at lifespans over the past century or two. Social Security was set at 65 because the average lifespan was 67-68. Now, we're living at least a decade longer. During the middle ages most people only lived to be 50.

We can't just link "cancer" to our food. there are many forms of cancer and many different contributing factors that lead to "cancer".
Yea but at the same time people are getting cancer, diabetes and heart disease at younger ages.

While I agree that your longevity depends on a myriad of factors, food is absolutely fundamental. It's like if you have a Ferrari, but put donkey piss in it instead of ultra-premium gas, it will damage the vehicle. There's also the problem of decades of disinformation about nutrition like fat being "bad" for you (so low-fat processed foods are promoted), red meat being fine (now we know it causes cancer), more emphasis on "protein" rather than greens and veggies, etc.
I won't deny there are plenty of bad foods out there. My family is first hand evidence of that. Over the past 50 years, look at all the manufactured crap we've put into production. Most of the middle aisles of the grocery store are dedicated to it. However, I'm not convinced that the whole GMO thing is as bad as most people make it out to be. Yes, we may have more diseases, but we're still on the way to living longer lives while living increasingly unhealthy lifestyles (sedentary lifestyle, bad diet, too much food, etc).

Cows aren't that dumb. They are just herd animals so you can herd them up real easily once you know what you're doing. You have to trick them to move them and it isn't always easy to do that. They catch on quick and will just say screw you and walk away and it's not like you can move them if they don't want to move.

I accidentally zapped a cow through myself, I leaned on an electric fence and it went through me and into a cow I was touching. That dude still won't go near me 6 months later. Thinks I'm evil now. they have a good memory.

This guy was telling me that he was having a convo with a man from some other country and dude swears that our food is poison. Dude said that he never saw yellow urine until he came to the states.

Why is he looking at another mans piss though?

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't associate myself with, let alone converse with someone who's in the bathroom observing another mans urine, B

Never been in a public bathroom where the toilet wasn't flushed?

Actually the practice of not flushing in a public restroom started in new york city in the 1930s.

Patrons who were not satisfied with their meal would use the stall and not flush the duece.

That is where the term "leaving a lil sumthin extra" comes from

We pay for food to give us cancer then pay for cancer treatment.

Ive been to a urologist a few times, clear pee ALL the time isnt exactly normal either. Even when I drink a ton of water my piss is always tinted yellow. Only time its clear is those alcohol pisses at the bar.

One thing I learned when watching the movie Soul Food was that Soul Food killed Big Momma

Absolutely.

Meat, dairy, processed foods, tap water, non-organic foods, fast foods and pharmaceutical medicines all highly increase humans chances for disease. 1 in every 3 Americans will have their chest sawed open and their hearts taken out of their bodies. I think I read by the year 2030 over 60% of americans would be diabetic.

Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.
