UB is still the comfiest shoe out of them all to me. V2 is definitely close. Alphabounce doesn't even hold a candle to either. I'd put alphabounce below V1 and NMDs on the comfort scale.

Naw not bottoms out but it gets too squishy, my foot slides around, etc. Its not terrrible but the feel of AB and V1/2 feels a lot more solid.

i think your UBs are half a size too big /you got em in the wrong size lol

saw your sizing post and found it interesting you went 1 full size up from V1 to UB but half size down from UB to V2 [emoji]129300[/emoji]

for me its:
V1 - 9
UB - 9.5
V2 - 9.5

oh well everybody's feet is different lol

I've said this before but the kinds of comfort an alpha bounce gives and the kind of comfort an ultra boost gives are completely different. There's a time and a place for each of them. For short periods of time Where I'm not walking a lot of on my feet I'll go with the UB but for long periods of time where I'm on my feet walking and such I much prefer the bouncieness/responsiveness of the alpha bounce. That becomes even more true when the UB's have tons of wears on them and the boost starts to flatten and become less responsive.

for the 1.0 sole or continental sole (or both?)

i could agree for the 1.0s since the soles have been reported that they wear down over time

Specifically 1.0 non continental. I got my 1.0 core blacks back when they first dropped and wore them HEAVILY for months before getting my next pair, navy 1.0. Even right now the comfort going from the CBs that have a TON of wear to the navy's which have been worn a lot less frequently is like night and day.

I think it varies pair to pair I have a few pairs that still feel great and I have others that I have worn a lot less and they don't feel nearly as good.  That being said my less comfy boost are still my most comfy shoes compared to the other joints I rock

can't even front how comfy v2s in your correct size are. they def fixed that big time. still notch under ub for me.

Keep in mind I'm 6'4" 240lbs, I'm not a small guy. My feet sink into every pair of sneakers I buy eventually. After hours of wear whether the boost is new or old it still maybe soft and plush but the responsiveness drops off significantly and after awhile that hurts. I don't have that problem with the alpha bounces. They start off firmer for sure but they get more comfortable with everywhere and the responsiveness or bounce never goes away.

Maybe it's cause I'm a bigger dude but that my general experience with it. I've got a feeling most people haven't stuck with an alpha bounce long enough for them to break in the same way mine has. My alpha bounces feel like the soles are made of slightly firmer dr. Sholls gel lol

I like the Ultraboost, but it's far from "comfiest of all time" for me. Yes, it's comfy but they sink in a little too much for my personal taste. In terms of comfiest shoes I own:
1. Asics Nimbus
2. Pegasus 33
3. Ultraboost

MY OPINION.

By the way, I need those Pirate Black v2s. Pirate Blacks are my favorite v1s so I gotta get the v2s.

As comfortable as boost is and as comfortable as UB are haven't tried on a single boost shoe yet that has made me not want to wear other sneakers lol they're def top tier comfort but comfortable aesthetically pleasing runners have existed for decades
