2008 BMW M3 or Newer car in 2016 opinions........

Can't believe dude drives his M3 like a old dude in a buick lol that's the funniest thing in this thread.

Never understood why people in fast cars drive super slow, like under the speed limit slow.

I agree with you but from what I heard before, they usually say it's bc they can't afford to pay for any repairs in case of an accident so they're extra careful with it.  I'd rather just get a luxury cruiser type of car tho personally if I wanted a nice car and drive slow

My next daily driver is going to be a TLX, and leasing a 911. I bought a 2010 TSX in December of 2010. The car has 104,000 miles now...joint is still going strong as hell. Maintenance is ridiculously cheap. Oil change at the dealership is $50. "Major" service is like $900 and that was only at 100k miles

It's not the fastest car, but I don't think I've even redline this thing with LA traffic.
My sister has the 2015 TLX. Beautiful car.

let me tell you what my uncle , boss and a few other bmw / other luxury vehicle owners told me when i got the car.............they all basically said "youre going to get attention from girls thinking you got money to blow , and people that drive toyotas will find a way to criticize your car to give their minds a reason why they dont have a luxury car"

As a proud member of the Camry Cruising Committee, **** your m3 b

true but you get my point tho
if you're a car guy a track isnt the only way to enjoy a performance car.. hell i even enjoy cleaning my bmw
Yeah. When I was younger in my undergrad or hell even my grad years, I used to love cleaning my car. Would even use q-tips to clean the vents and clay bar every season. Now that time is a luxury I haven't wash my own car in at least 5 years. Last time I just paid a detailer $150 to do the job

When I had my 335i on KW V2 on iforged (such inferior wheels for the price), I used to get hit up to race all the time, usually by G coupes and sedans. When I tell them go to the track, street racing is stupid, they have the most confused face ever.

Ms and AMGs are not what they used to be. They are soft and baby you

It's gotten to the point the car drives you.

Real talk, don't due it Al.

The car is small. I have a newer M3 and it's a struggle to sit inside. You're a big guy, no ayo, and with that injury you should be looking at a full size sedan like an S-Class.

Damn big body like that?

I'll see how things go first. I don't even like big body sedans like that I do but I like sport compacts.

The biggest I would go is an Audi A6/EClass or 5 series and that was perfect in size.Especially since dudes said your a big guy.

Real talk get that wagon though :pimp:

2008 M3, keeps its residual value because it's gonna be one of the last great V8 German sports cars left. Buy one with a BMW certified warranty and it would be as good as new.

its ignorance man , cant explain it to a non car enthusiast how this car will hold value like the beloved supras / nsx / nice body rx7

No hate and the M3 is pure fire but you really think its going to hold its value like those classic nsx and supras? A 10+ year old German?

If thats the case im copping one and sitting on it next year

especially the ones I see in NYC. You'll never get past 70mph unless you drive after midnight.

I've had foreign cars and there's always two things to consider they always cost more to fix and the parts are two to three times the price of a domestic but the 2016 cars will probably rival the 08 bmw in features and perks but you won't get as much "floss points" as you would pulling up in a BMW

last true m3 being a coupe / not m4 , last naturally aspirated m3 , only m3 with a v8 motor that redlines at 8500 rpm......yes this car will start increasing value in 5 years

V6 camaro is really one of the most reliable cars I've owned.  I have had Fords, Toyota, Honda, Dodge neon, BMW, Benz, and Volvo. The Chevy is the cheapest and most fun to drive.

And Al if you want an m car lease a new joint don't get an 8 year old m3 because it's affordable to acquire. With the money you'll spend like 35 you can get a better or equal performance car and save yourself possible trouble. Unless you really love the m3 92 I'll get it from a enthusiasts stand point but it's not even all that and that's from someone who loves that car I wouldn't buy it myself if I was in the market
