You sure you weren't reading about FG that's always been the age old wisdom applied to them.

AG are shorter conical studs that are usually hollow and have really only been on the market for about 3 years.

Edit: With that being said, can you guys confirm that FG will be hard on the joints if used on turf?

Heads up but a lot of deals on Ordem 4 match balls starting to pop up online, particularly the Copa Centinario editions.

Got a couple of these from Nike but sold on Amazon for $80 shipped a piece.

Hopefully prices keep falling I'm wondering if Nike over produced the recent Ordems like they did the Tracer years ago, ended up being able to find them on eBay for $50 years after the subsequent models were introduced.

I got one of those for free after working at the Copa, that one is staying on its little stand but I definitely need to find another so I can use one to play with.

I've worn fg on turf for over 10+ years and they are fine (I play primarily on turf, currently 4 games a week). I recently got a pair of ag boots and don't see a difference in pressure on any joints, only difference is you're closer to the turf so they play a little different on the ball, similar somewhat to wearing turfs or flats

Kicking myself for passing on them at $73 a piece from soccer.com a few weeks back...waiting for prices to drop to that range again

My superfly v soleplate is separating already cant even send them to nike so ill have to make do until ive got cash for the elite pack

Those colorways for the Nike pack are terrible

Are you guys buying those ugly ea sports superflys to actually play in? Or are you adding them to the "collection" like a hypebeast?

Got them for my son to play in since he got straight As. They match his soccer uniform perfectly.

Why does it matter? Can people buy what they want with THEIR money?

Just saying.......You called them ugly and implied anyone buying them (because they`re ugly) is just a hypebeast. I simply asked what difference it made what people spent their money on, especially if it doesnt impact you in some way.

You guys are right, didn't mean to come off that way, I apologize. I shouldn't be letting real life problems affect my attitude on here when I use NT as an escape.

Back to the thread, what are you guys rocking on the pitch? 8)

I'm using Phantom 1 FG for natural grass and Superfly 4 AG for artificial grass.
