Skip Bayless doesn't really believe that, as a matter of fact he doesn't really believe 90% of the things that comes out of his mouth.
Folks need to realize, he's playing a character. He's built a brand around expressing over the top opinions. He is the casual sports fan's sports personality.
When it comes to combat sports Skip Bayless and Stephen A Smith together possess far less knowledge on both boxing and MMA than any regular in this thread.
Heck Stephen A Smith didn't even know who Danny Garcia was, kept calling him David Garcia.

Ok, He clear outclassed Porter that night boxing on that outside and using his reach to his advantage.
Porter never established a rhythm and couldn't really solve the reach issue.
That was Brooks first fight on a big stage
And Shawn prior to that was an undefeated fighter who basically just came off making Paulie quit

PAC wasn't that impressive to keep fighting. He should just stay retired unless he needs the money.

I know that fight happened. It was two years ago...I was probably the most excited person on this board for that fight.

I thought Pac looked great in his fight. Old habits die hard and Bradley's inability to stick to the game plan and box cost him once again. I was also impressed and astonished by the healing properties of the water from Lake Minatonka. Pac's self rehab regiment made all the difference.

Khan is my boy but I personally see it as
1. Brook
2. Thurman
3. Garcia
4. Khan
5. Porter
In spite of Khan's five fight win streak I cannot in good conscience put him ahead of Garcia until they run that back and Khan takes it.

Simple, Brits show up in force to watch their fighters. Guys regularly sellout local venues out there.
Boxing isn't nearly as big in America as it is abroad.
That's why I laugh whenever someone says boxing is dead because it's always a clueless American casual viewer that says that ****. A Brit or a Mexican would hear that and would think the dude saying that is ******ed.

Khan is a legend and has been masterful since his 2 round boxing clinic vs. Danny Garcia. I worry about his long term health. He took a brutal beating vs. Chris Algeri, getting staggered bad at least 5 times and may never be the same.

Brook maybe, IMO I think he would but I don't think Thurman has the juice to go 12 rounds against Pac's volume and newfound vigor.
Last year? Yeah I could see it. After seeing Pac against Bradley? I doubt it.
Thurman's defense has some holes in it. Ghost Guerrero lit his face up at points in their fight. Thurman clearly won the bout but Guerrero did a lot of damage.
I think Pac beats Thurman, Khan, Porter and just about every welterweight except Brook and maaaaybe Garcia, provided Garcia is on point that night.

Because Brits support British fighters.
Look at Ricky Hatton, he was a megastar over there before he was a blip on the American radar. Even a scrub like Dereck Chisora or David Haye make bank out there because they have big followings.
There's so many quality American fighters that go unnoticed by the American public, only the big name PPV headliners get any noteriety.
Boxing is second to only soccer out there.
