21 y.o. Milkwaukee girl froze to death walking home...

This is America in 2016.

Makes no damn sense to be freezing to death unless you lost up on a mountain or stranded somewhere alone. No sense.
 
I mean, none of you guys have ever gotten blackout drunk and woken up not remembering where you went or how you got somewhere? Unfortunately for her it was too damn cold. Some of you posting like she was sober and decided to go outside to freeze to death.
 
Thread colder than the weather that took shorty's life.
Would it be a stretch to say her body BEEN cold in the grave?

Nah. Smart enough to never get blackout drunk outside the comfort of my own home.

It's not about being smart though. Regardless of where you are, you're not aware of what you're doing when you're that drunk. For all you know you could've walked out your house too and walked around the block a few times.

God Bless the young lady, and I am grateful your brother survived his ordeal, but all justifying you are attempting to do, doesn't excuse the irresponsibility of being super drunk and suffering consequences of that action.

let it go...
 
I'm not justifying it, it's not like she committed a crime. She made a dumb choice of getting too drunk which a lot of young people do and it cost her her life. I've learned from nights like that.

Can't say I ever have...nor do I really want to tbh. Just saying this tragedy could've easily been avoided in a few different ways.

She died in riverwest which used to be the hood. its currently getting gentrified like none other.
They forgot to mention she was drunk and on heavy drugs. She was also reported to have blacked out at a bar and the ambulance had to come and get her a couple months back. But the news painted her as a young and innocent young woman.

Rip but she had a problem and her friends and her habit was her downfall.

That's why a lot of people say weed > alcohol.

No chronic has ever made me do stuff like this, but been a few times I got so wrecked and then wake up in my bed and don't remember how I got there.

Car parked and everything :smh:

Not anymore though.
