Official Programming & Development Thread Vol. ASP.NET, C/C#/C++, HTML, Java, Etc.

Getting into some slightly difficult subjects such as polymorphism, encapsulation and all of that

*Raises hand*

I fell off the horse but lately have been seeing a lot of coding related topics so I feel like it's a sign . Bout to dive back into SQL and FCC. Next I'm going to either look into ASP.Net or Java. I keep having this feeling about web apps so I need to get right in that realm.

Present and accounted for. Currently learning SQL

How/where are you learning SQL at? Any particular platform (MS, Oracle, etc.)?

Just started using FreeCodeCamp. This is like learning a new language. :x
Excited for the journey though. :smokin

Hey guys. Udemy has $10 courses until January 10th at midnight. Are there any good ones anyone can recommend me to take?

Are you brand new to the field?

Do you know HTML, CSS like the back of your hand already?

If not, I would suggest taking the basic HTML, CSS courses. Python is a pretty straight forward language so if you want to dig your feet into something to get familiar with coding logic and understanding structure python is a good place to start.

But that's just my perspective. I'm sure some guys in here could chime in

I wouldn't suggest starting off in JavaScript or anything unless you want to get brain ****** without knowing HTML and CSS first.

I'm coming from UX Design so I need to familiarize myself with more HTML & CSS

I may grab a few courses from various languages just to have in my back pocket. $10 a pop for what seem like highly regarded courses is a great deal.

Anyone ever code a sneaker bot? Thinking about building a supreme bot, want to learn a little bit before embarking on the endeavor.

Anyone still in here? Subbed to this thread.

We outchea, just busy with work and what not so I don't get to post often. Last time I was this busy I was on line.

Bruh. When that polymorphism chapter finally clicked >>>>

Felt like Neo in the Matrix.

Currently learning PL/SQL and :x I've been relearning a lot when it comes to SQL as well. The BEST resource I've found are the O'Reilly books. All of the ones I've been reading are well organized, laid out, and they do a good job of providing many examples without making it a chore.

Just picked up some great courses from Udemy for $19. Has anyone read the YDKJS series from Kyle Simpson yet?

Starting an Object Oriented Programming class using Java. I've never used Java so I'm playing catchup, but so far Java is way simpler than c++.

Yup that's why it was so much harder for me to go from Java to C++. I think it's best to go from C++ to Java

Is the promo over

Nah, it ends on the 10th. Better get them jawns before they go back up.

Can anyone recommend good C, C++, C# courses? Not sure which one is the most used one but I'm trying to learn before I interview for this internship.
