I wish the young dude coulda just got on her level verbally and ripped her apart but I'd be lying if I said dudes actions weren't somewhat noble to me. Like he's young and still knows what type of hatred and ill will those words and that type of thinking holds. Knocked the glasses clean off chicks face. That first punch is when she learned a lesson, promise. She won't stop saying or thinking like that but she'll at least look around the next time she's ready to spew her ignorance.

Wanting to be feared is VALIDATING a person's views and opinion to begin with. Which in this case, is utterly worthless. They know that they're worthless, which is why they try and make you feel worthless. Responding in any way is giving them value, while cheapening your own.

I generally don't support violence but tbh I'm not mad at this.
Racists are the scum of this earth and if getting smacked is what it takes to teach them a lesson in that moment, it is what it is.
The problem with violence is it'll always come back to bite the aggressor. Violence is a temporary solution with the potential to make the problem even worse.
Sure the girl will probably shut her mouth about black people in that situation but because she was beaten like that she'll probably become even more racist towards black people and the black kid will either get suspended or expelled while the girl gets a slap on the wrist.

yea, and weird.
cosign all of this. school fights shouldn't result in police involvement unless a weapon is involved. went to school in nyc all the way up to hs and cops were only there for weapons, fights were broken up by school staff and security and sent to the dean's office. lots of times its just kids being stupid.
and for this dude and that big girl, same thing. he is wrong for the hands, and she is wrong for the mouth (racism, weight) but both should be dealt with internally imo.

You know what would've made this situation a million times better, besides dude not reacting, it would've been sooooo awesome if someone white in that very classroom reacted to ol' girl the way dude did. Like if a white student just pushed homeboy to the side and said "I got this bro" and went to work on her. Or even if the teacher stood up and got in between them and clowned ol' girl, but in real life none of that happened and dude will likely get suspended/expelled at the very least. But you have to admit it would have been awesome to see someone else come to dude's aid. Wasted opportunity.

Who in the hell says that? Like who tells someone they don't have a right to converse on any topic especially racism, even if they threw the first blow, hell the assault was the result of the racial conversation that she was having towards him to begin with. Furthermore, not only is the young lady at fault for the insults, the teacher was also at fault because she could not control her classroom and allowed a volatile situation to simmer and then escalate, I blame the other students because even though they were not involved I am sure that they know right from wrong and were likely raised better but someone with a cooler head should have prevailed and tried to de-escalate the situation, also as much as I don't want to, I blame the young man because his actions might jeopardize his future, but he was probably too overwhelmed with emotion to walk away. I blame him, but I don't at the same time if that makes sense, but I wont believe that young man wont have a right in a conversation because he threw the first blow. She had it coming, but I hate that it had to be him, like a said, the other students and the teacher are as much at fault as anyone else.
