DMX almost dies vol. More than music

Eh, it worked out for the best. Don't think I could listen to a full album with DMX and Ja on every track.

X had it all man. Movies and the rap game. :smh:

Nobody could match his energy

Untouchable....dudes energy is too much to be contained within his own body, I'm pretty sure that same passion that made him a legend is indirectly the reason he's where he's at, a lot of rappers rap about **** they fabricated, this dude literally LIVED IT....lived all the struggles ain't **** fabricated and that's why all these other rappers were on his **** specially Jay.

I remember watching a video of when he went back to i think it was the children's village in Dobbs Ferry I could be wrong but is where he spent a lot of his troubled youth and this dude broke down in tears, joint had a young man in me balllllllin b...the emotions were too ***** real, the pain was too ***** real.

He was taken to St. Joes, thought he might have ended up in my hospital, I would have stopped by today to tell him how appreciated he's been even though he already knows that, I hope.

When he comes on "24 hours to live"

**** makes you want to jump off a roof, land on the floor and shake that fall off like nothing

Get better X

His debut dropped when I was in 7th grade around the time when I started discovering my own taste in music and buy my own CDs so I have some great memories with that album. My 7th grade bball team came out to Ruff Ryder's Anthem and you couldn't tell us nothing

We couldn't even get 1 album :smh:
I honestly would not want to listen to a whole album with these 3.

Ja is the weakest rapper among the 3. Jay's style at the time (any of his styles really) does not mesh with X's much especially for an entire album.
For me....its dark and hell is hot is better than reasonable doubt or illmatic.

I know its not the critics consensus but for me personally i feel that way
Yeah, I don't know what you on.

Drag-On

Don't front now that boy could spit .
I'll be the first to front. He couldn't.

Watch his entire Woodstock '99 performance. I go back to it every other month. That crowd was pretty much riding his wave of energy the whole time. Obviously substances were involved, but for the most part, they were genuinely vibing with him. White people saying words they really shouldn't be saying lol, rapping with X line-for-line. It's something to marvel at, especially considering how much the culture has changed for the worst since then.

Drag-on didn't bother me when he was with everyone but I'd never just bump him solo.

One time I went to an x show... He never showed. :frown:

lmao^^^^ vintage X, word to MTV

Mark Ant know what it is

Oh yea, let me update and say X is out of the hospital ( so this thread dont get demoted)

 I was 3/4 sure he wasn't going to turn up anyways.

It was supposed to be x, riff raff and action Bronson. Just the latter two performed.

RUFF RYDERS was a PROBLEM man...

Swizz, X, Eve, Lox, Drag had Rocafella shook...lol

Back when NY had the game on a chokehold and you could be legit proud of claiming NY>>>>> and know it was the truth and no one could debate it.

Drag-on got 2.5 mics in the Source he never recovered after that. I still copped it but he did have some awful songs on there ..they didn't have to give him 2.5 mics though

Yall can't front on Drag-On like that.

Yeah he fell off but on a track with the whole crew he was guaranteed to spit some fire.

Where Eve at though? :nerd:
