Nike Hyperdunk 2016 Available in July

Curious to hear a comparison from anyone that has played on court in the HD Elite and the KD9 and can compare.

Haven't played in elites but I did the regular mesh. Zoom in the HD feels stiffer due to the phylon carrier but still feels great - bouncy and responsive, but not the Crazy bounce back of the kd9.

There's some good deals on the flyknits up on eastbay (and maybe the other foot sites as well). Grey, black and red down to $180, USA at $170, and none of them excluded from the 20% code.

any fit difference between the regular high and the low?

These hyperdunk 16s are

wow they feel like the og hyperrevs with a more supportive upper. My fav of shoe of 2016 I think. Fit is perfect for me. Not so much with the rose 7 or KD 9. Rare Metals are great but fit me a bit long. Haven't hooped in my kobe 11 or Harden yet. XXXI's finally on the way. CE's are great but the hyperdunk is a more exact fit for me.

Im thinking about copping the isiash thomas hypershift pe but that translucent outsole is stopping me becuz reviews say the traction is ok even with the solid rubber.

Translucent outsole on the Kobe 11's is amazing. Wore them today on semi-dusty court. Ridiculous grip. Wouldn't these be similar?

What'd you like more about these than the KD 9?

Will be able to compare be able to give my opinion by the weekend.

If you had to pick between the gray flyknit and the black flyknit which would you choose?

Nice, I'll be looking out.

EIther colorway really, but the black/grey is cool because of the contrasting medial color. I do like the tonal grey though.

Lol. I'm actually trying to decide between these two shoes myself

ELITES with the code KICKSDEALS20 makes them $136 on NDC, plus 8% cash back. Still not enough for me for the Game Royals or Black.

Translucent sole on these good to go, yeah? Similar compound to the Kobe 11 or KD9 I would assume.

Just got a pair of the regular lows as well so I'll give my $.02 on the rubber in a few days but I've heard they're basically the same but the translucent collects more dust

Just got my black pair, haven't played in them yet. I went half size down which made them kind of a pain to put on as the width is a little narrow but I think it will stretch out and be fine. They're still about a quarter size too long but it's not noticeable. The zoom is nice so far but I need to play in them, you can feel it but it's not really mushy.View media item 2321613
The toe box feels identical to my Kobe AD which I like.

Also a lot more stable than the KD 9, it's obvious already.

I played a few games of 21 in the flyknits and they feel pretty damn good. I want to reserve my thoughts til I play full court, sometimes I think a pair of kicks are good to go in 21 until I play full and don't like em. IMO much better lockdown and stability than the kd9

Oh, also I went down .5 too. Length is perfect, width a lil narrow at first but after a couple wears they feel good

Gotta try them on then. Was thinking TTS. Surprised to hear.

But yea 21 halfcourt - that full run get way more full running in. Feel the cushion more.

Just got my lows. TTS was good for these for me, really happy with the materials and the fit. Gotta break them in, but out of the box you can feel the Zoom more in the flyknits.

Ive been playing 3 weeks in the FK and its frustrating - i went half sz down ad the length is fine but my left foot keeps going numb when i play. Ive been adjusting the laces and switching socks etc but it isnt helping much. Ive even tried stuffing them with socks to stretch them out but no luck so far.

Im back in my lows now (the ones with the wear on the toes..) and they feel much better, its very dissapointing cus i love the grey FK they look dope prob one of the best looking HDs in yrs but I just cant find a way to get them to work for me.

Also in terms of performance i feel the FKs are a bit more bulky and restrictive than the lows and the zoom (full length) does take away some court feel but my main issue is the compression sock, Ive even tried playig in them with no socks but they just didnt feel right.

All in all the FK tech on bballl shoes still feel like work in progress - Im looking out for a new pair of lows on discount cus for me they just perform better than the FK.

Compared to the KD9s I would say the KDs are a better all round shoe, traction is better, cushion is better the only thing that might effect the KD is the fit - they run tight and narrow but sizing down a half sz in the FK HD is about the same IMO.

I'm returning my FK for a TTS pair. I think a big downside to the KD 9 is the zoom popping, eventually the warranty runs out too. Also they feel a little high off the ground for me. I can really feel that full length zoom in the FK compared to my lows too (like that personally).

Got my true size in the FKs, they're still a little narrow but I think they will stretch out and theyre basically the same length for me as down half a size. My feet are on the wider side of normal btw. They feel low to the ground and the zoom is still pretty responsive while being nice and cushiony, I really noticed the difference in my knees after playing in the ADs (a shoe I really really like). Also the outsole feels nice and wide for stability, which makes me think the flyknit is just woven really tightly instead the shoe having a narrow last. I went tts in my mesh pair, which are very similar (I actually like the fit more), but the zoom in the FK plus the looks win out for me.

They're both really good; if you're looking at a $70 price difference Id recommend the mesh. For me Id only be comfortable paying $20-$40 more max for the FK depending on my finances and the colorway. Plus the mesh outsole is harder so i'm planning on taking them outdoors soon.

Played some more in my Fks, really enjoying them. Prob the best bball shoe I've played in in a couple of years

Thank you to the recent reviews. Very informative. I may try to grab a pair when my XX9 low die out.

Gave these a 2nd try. Everything felt real nice on the court today. Traction was good. Cushion at first got me feeling a little slower due to usually balling in Kobe XI/ J30's... eventually got use to them and felt really nice.
Def part of my rotations now... Like these more then the KD9's
