I'm in Denver for a couple of days. I'm staying downtown. Any recommendations for things to do and restaurants to visit.

Hmm, there wasn't really much to do in Denver when I visited...I had alot of fun in Boulder...Maybe because the college is right there.

I'm in Denver.

as far as downtown Denver goes..

Guard and Grace for a great steak.

LODO has some clubs/bars and is close to Coors Field.

rec prices on fire :smokin have went wayyy down, if you're into that. check Doctors Orders, 10 minutes from downtown for great deals. Green Solution is also another good spot.

Boulder is 30-40 minutes from downtown and offers the Colorado University/college atmosphere.

You can get to the mountains in 30 min to an hour, depending on where you are going.

depends on what you're into

Liangs thai food cart on 16th and Tremont maybe? amazing food.
Biker Jims is decent - they do non-traditional brats
Snooze for breakfast
Denver Diner is good diner food.

can ppl chief in public settings?

not legally.

however you will see people, especially downtown, all the time doing it in public.

How is living in Colorado though? Last time I was there, I dated a girl from Westminsterl and I really liked the area...Good state to live in?

Nightlife = Thursday = Cowboy Lounge - ladies night. girls get in free and guys pay $5 cover. it will be packed. Friday through Saturday - Cold Crush (plays old school hip hop), The Drink (it is one bar but you can walk between 2 other bars that are connected) Mynt, and the best bar in Denver right now is Mile High Spirits (get there before 11 on the weekends. if you don't you will wait in line). You could always hit LoDo for Brothers, Jacksons, The Tavern, and LoDo's.

Coors Field is pointless to visit if there isn't a game going on. I'm sure you could do a tour but the stadium isn't that great.

You can't smoke in public. You can try and do it if you like but the cops here will get on you about that. Depends on the officer if you get ticked or not.

Cost of living high? It's pretty diverse right or am I expecting to be looked down upon because I have brown skin?

San Diego has great craft beer and trees/concentrates too

Yeah but you need to know someone to get bud.

Colorado has recreational bud and people visiting the state can cop.

I mean I'm sure it isn't too hard to find bud in SD. Every time I've been to LA I literally just asked and I got put on. :smokin
