If im havin bbq i might use salsa on chicken or fajita if its grilled.

Smoked meats i dont use salsa usually unless its sliced brisket taco.

I've never had the privilege of being at a black backyard cookout. I have gone to enough black soul food and BBQ places to know that black potato salad is great.

So since black folks tend to not like mayonnaise, what goes into potato salad? bacon grease, olive oil? Help me solve this mystery.

I don't eat cookout food.

I find that everyone cheapens out with the ingredients. Too many processsed foods.

I'm that dude to invite to a tailgate though. Come through with two Whole Foods bags like whut. Turkey apple sausage links, artisinal mayo, and spinach wraps. Come see me in this parking lot, pleghboi.

Dique artisanal mayo....:smh:
Hellmans mayo is great already. Cant improve on perfection. Ketchup on the other hand.. Sir Kensingtons is where it's at.

Is there a significant taste in difference from Heinz?
Yes, very different and much better IMO.  It's expensive though I don't use ketchup all that often so it's not like I'm buying it a lot but after having this, I can't put Heinz, or whatever on anything.  That's just WAY too sugary and processed, doesn't even taste like tomatoes to me whereas I think that even in a blind taste test I would prefer Sir Kensington's (or any other similar brand) without question.  If anyone has others they recommend I'm open to it too.

Ingredients for Heinz: TOMATO CONCENTRATE FROM RED RIPE TOMATOES, DISTILLED VINEGAR, HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, CORN SYRUP, SALT, SPICE, ONION POWDER, NATURAL FLAVORING

Ingredients for Sir Kensington's: Tomatoes, Tomato Paste, Organic Sugar, Onions, Distilled Vinegar, Salt, Lime Juice Concentrate, Green Bell Peppers, Allspice, Citric Acid

From what I read, obviously it would be better for you with no sugar at all but plain old sugar (organic or not) > high fructose corn syrup and Heinz has twice as much anyway.  I haven't had McDonald's in a while but I remember their ketchup being overly sugary too.

I haven't had the rest of their products though I've heard they're good too, I only got into the ketchup after having it at a restaurant that said they went from not serving ketchup at all to only using Sir Kensington's and the only reason I found that out was because I really liked it so I asked.
