Agree not every shooting makes the news but a pregnant woman, paralyzed and forced into labor? Media outlets live for stories like that. That's not sure regular shooting, that's not something that happens everyday. U kinda want the media to get ahold of that story, far more people will donate and gives u a better chance of solving the crime.

I think even if its not on the news there should be more outrage is all most people are saying.
Like Wavy Daddy said if my pregnant GF was shot, forced into labor, and paralyzed....my friends and family would be up in arms. Like posting everything online and contacting every media outlet possible. There is no reason to not. With the medical bills that she will face and all of the rehab and everything she will have to go through you will NEED this money. How many lives have been changed by this one bullet. OP has to watch the kid more so his life changes. Parents will be at bedsides and helping with things they never thought they would have to (cleaning bed pans and helping feed and wash thier grown child).
Like this should be somewhere/everywhere

That's not how the media works in situations like this bro. A person's family isn't in charge of whether or not a shooting like this is reported by local media outlets. Do you think for all the shootings you see on the news the victims family called the news stations to report it to them? Police beat reporters from the local newspapers and news outlets have relationships with people within the local police department that would have given them the information on this story.
Story sounds like ******** to me, and to be honest, I hope it is.
