I'm going to have to go with al audi and @ksteezy on this won.

I watch the local news and never saw anything about a shooting paralyzing any pregnant woman out here.

Plus, just a year ago there was some other NTr setting up a gofundme cause his wife couldn't work and how they had a daughter to raise but not enough funds. Then he got exposed for buying his daughter some $500 Jordans and his ABLE BODIED girl was able to work, but he didn't want her to actually work at all.

I just saw on my local news and all over fb about a drunk driver hitting a car killing a man and seriously injuring his fiance. I got more info simply by just go ogling one of the names given, saying op u should be able to Google her name and a story pops. I ain't trynna be a **** my dude but it's bs if she in the hospital and there is no story about it. Especially if the shooter is still at large. We got a ig/twitter/fb page for detroit and it's surrounding areas called crimeinthed. Everytime a gun is shot they report it, it's 2016 I find that very hard to believe.

Almost like a psa. " there was a drive by shooting at such and such road at such and such time. If anyone has any information, please contact such and such number". I would be all over the place trying to find answers. Radio stations or even try to get a blurb in the newspaper

this is LA, stuff like this happens all the time.

if the news did a story on every shooting in LA the la times would have its own section about shootings.

sadly this would be just considered a gang shooting and therefore not receive any attention, i can tell alot of yall dont really know how the world works.

also im sure OP and his family dont really fit the medias agenda,

had OP be some rich kid and the wife a blonde with blue eyes from a well off family then this wouldve been news.

and also law enforcement does text, its not unprofessional its now the norm.

detectives and investigators do it all the time.

Listen, it doesn't matter what year it is one fact remains, the media is not omniscient. Yes even in 2016.

They can't, and don't, report every single shooting, stabbing, murder, kidnapping, robbery and rape.

Oftentimes they have to be contacted to get a story and even then that doesn't guarantee that it will get out there.

I personally know of at least 3 stories ending in someone's death that I never heard about on the news.

They're not all seeing, they're not all knowing and ****** get shot every day b.

You find it hard to believe there's no news? Cool. don't donate. My problem isn't that people aren't giving him money. It's your ******* money, do whatever you want with it.

My problem is people giving him the 3rd degree to prove he's a liar. What does that do for you? I can tell you what it does for him.

Assuming the story is true (sorry OP) it not only makes him feel worse, it also deters others from donating and prompts them to question him as well.

Especially when it's someone as prominent as you are. Everybody likes Audi, even this new angry, quirky version of him and he's calling this guy a liar.

Welp he probably is. Let me also suggest he's a ******* scumbag too instead of just ignoring it or just giving him "prayers" for whatever those are worth.

Now this ***** over here, girl shot up and paralyzed, baby girl born early and needing a whole lot of ****, he stressing, come to someplace familiar to get just a little more support.

And ****** in here telling him that because the media isn't big brother he, his paralyzed girl, his newborn baby and his bloody car can kick rocks.

I'd think you of all people Audi can understand the importance of a support system after a horrific accident. Whether it be emotional or financial. I know I can.

And that's all he's asking for. Emotional and/or financial help. He's not demanding money. If you feel uncomfortable you can withhold your dollars and still wish him luck. 

It cost nothing to say "Hey man that sucks keep your head up". And if that makes you uncomfortable too well you can just ignore this **** and dip into one of the appreciation threads. 

But trying to expose him is a bit ****** up. He aint GSC bragging about whips and selling ****** pipe dreams. My man just wants someone to tell him it's gonna be ok.

Now let's get into this money ****. Assuming everyone currently logged into NT gave OP $5 that gives him at least 10% of what he's asking for.

Let's also say he's a liar (sorry OP), it's only $5. You only got got for $5 and it was for trying to help someone. And not just anyone. One of our own.

I'd rather feel bad for trying to be a good person, than know I could've done something to help someone who really needed it and did the exact opposite.

I denied him any support at all (emotional or financial) and tried to make sure others would too. Especially knowing how much money I've pissed away.

I've easily wasted more than 1000 times that in my life on stupid selfish crap. I also remember when I didn't even have that much in the bank. $5. 

I got more than that in loose change on the desk in my room now but I remember when I only had half that.

I think on how much of a difference it would've made to me at the time if a person just randomly gave me half that.

There's analytic crime non-profits and news desk that report every call of a shooting in Los Angeles.

My student was shot down in broad daylight earlier this year...THAT made it to the news and google searches.

I reached out to my people in and around Lynwood and they're not saying anything about it.

Shoot even when i got hit in a drive by there was a bunch of articles and stories.

So I called the Lynnwood Sheriffs Dept. (323) 568-4800, and the assistant deputy had not heard of anything regarding a woman being paralyzed in a drive by shooting. The secretary said there were a couple incidents that day involving a gun but claimed her system was down so she couldn't get in to read the reports. Maybe I'll call back Monday.

Even when you search FB all names attached to the gofundme are avatars.

One mention from a lady claiming to be her manager at Motel 6. 

One girl who used to work at Sams strip club but hasn't posted anything since 2015.

This story is BS

That's just what is odd to me, not one of these names comes up and OP has been asked the hospital she is at multiple times

I'm trying not to go too hard but if this is a scam I don't want folks falling for it, usually Gofundmes are loaded with content to prove it is in fact legit

I have a good friend who is works for LA Sheriffs. I can verify this tomorrow for sure.
