Don't you need to be a VIP to enter the raffle?
I was saying if someone entered already and then purchased the amount to get platinum, they would not get the head start.

No, I meant platinum VIP. If you didn't have Platinum VIP, but upgraded to platinum before the release you wouldn't get the headstart added?

I've had success by being on the front screen then when it launches I tap the screen and when it goes into the shoe it refreshes automatically in my experience

I've never sniffed a W on a SNKRS draw so Im not too down on FCFS.

Agreed. Champs is the worse when it comes to discounts. I couldn't even use my reward on a pair of NMDs that were out for months. FTL seems to be the most generous when it comes to military discounts/VIP rewards.
I hope he's right. My buddy is pissed. He's returning the crap he bought to get to Plat ASAP nowand I can't say I blame him. When they want their money or whatever else, they're not waiting 48-72 hrs if they jack something up. They usually have a bunch of garbage at Champs here, plus no military discount on a lot of their items. Go to House of Hoops and pretty much as long as it's not a Quick Strike, they'll give you your discount all day. Now, there have been exceptions, like the Space Jams, but ... we don't get too bent out of shape about that considering the discounts on everything else. Champs will have crap on the wall for months in some place, but if it has a release date, they'll either tell you no or others will tell you you have to wait 2 weeks. The story seems to change from store to store and never is consitent. House of Hoops are pretty solid from CA to TX to FL in my personal experience, so they get a majority of my personal money if it's part of the Eastbay umbrella.
