NFL Week in Review: Week 1

Tannehill wasn't very exciting yesterday, but obviously he should have had a long touchdown to Stills who was unbelievably open and got the ball placed right in his hands.  He didn't make any big mistakes or turn the ball over.

Outside of that the Seahawks defense was fantastic, especially the front 4.

stillin729 stillin729 coming through :pimp:

- Tyrod and the Bills…nah
- classic Fitztragic with that INT on the final drive. ******* classic
- impressive 4th by Russ on the ankle
- loser of the week is T. Williams…how do you not get the hell out of bounds
- loser number two of the week…kickers league wide
- Wentz, Winston, and Carr…I see y’all. young QBs looking good
- Revis def got torched but I still wouldn't feel great testing him. definitely not worth that coin anymore though
- Alex Smith showed me something. SD or not, that was nice
- Raiders bout to push for the division
- Really interested to see how Washington comes out tonight...that division is going to be up for grabs even though the Cowboys should run away with it.

LL

Falcs are done for...Kyle Shanahan once again makes our offense look like senior citizens....it's only gonig to get worse from here...got 2 big play receivers with noooooo hands...Im sick!!

Jets:

- Forte still has gas in the tank.
- Leonard Williams is a superstar in the making.
- Almost everything else:

NFL:

- Seeing Keenan Allen crying as he's getting carted off hurt my heart. Can't imagine how it feels knowing you worked your *** off to come back 100% healthy from a lacerated kidney only to have everything taken from you again.

- Jameis & Carr :pimp:

- Dak played well enough to give his team a chance to win. Not bad but not great either.

- Andrew Luck = Anthony Davis

I actually felt bad for dolphins fans yesterday.. most went in thinking they didn't have a chance in hell.. but if stills could catch, dudes would have had a great shot at pulling it out

vikes d played well. hope sam is ready for week 2.
titans will be alright. they need to limit the turnovers.

bears had the texans but couldnt convert.
brock looked rusty but he will step up. texans are going to be a problem.

iggles with a good win. lets see how wentz does a team that is not the browns.
rg3 :smh:

bills held the ravens for the most part but offense couldnt do anything.
ravens look rusty but as always they fly under the radar.

scumbag pats [emoji]128530[/emoji]

-Dak and those checkdowns, tho....

-Probably a handful of guys in the history of the league could make that throw that AR12 did. Unreal.

-That hit RG3 took towards the end of the game :smh:

-#24 on the Bills wanted no parts of Steve Smith after the whistle  For good reason.

-RAIDERS :smokin

-JDR has huge balls

-Carr got some balls too

-Crabtree just catches balls

-Brees is still Brees

-Didn't know Hightower was still in the league

-Willie Snead has hair like ramen noodles, but he can ball

-Cooks is really fast

-Keenan Allen :frown:

-Chargers

-Fitz :smokin

-#freeluck

-#savetheconfetti

-Wilson beat a team on one leg

-Dolphins lost to a guy on one leg

-Might not have been Tannehill's fault :nerd:

-Jameis is a quarterback who gon toss that thang :smokin

-Cruz byke :smokin

-Dez needs to catch it

-RG3 needs to cut his hair

+ Dolphins
- Kenny Stills choked up a lot of opportunities. Not only the 70 yard pass, there were at least 2 to 3 others. One specific was I believe a corner, he slowed on the corner and then tried to speed up. Should bounce back next week but really could of put his stamp on things.
- Arian Foster looked smoothed. Would really like to see more of a commitment to get the ball in his hands. Swing passes and screens as well.
- I like coaches being ballsy, going for it on 4th down wasn't a problem to me. It was more than early enough to go for something with no consequences.
- Field Goal kicking will be a problem this year... like every year.
- Ryan Tannehill took shot after shot. Dude is ridiculously tough. He had some good and great passes against an all time defense. Will be interested to see him operate this offense next week against another good defense.
- OLine wilted at the end of the game... and they got their QB killed constantly. No running lanes opened up.
- I thought Gase had a decent first showing. I said before season we won't really see this team until middle of the season.
- Defense looked good for the most part. That comeback in the middle of the field was a killer constantly. Xavien had a good showing at corner, was targeted a lot and held his own. Tunsil played pretty well minus a field goal. Seems like he is still adjusting to playing inside. Grant looked decent on gis returns, but he has to be aware of the end of the game. Take a knee... get to the 25. Jordan Phillips was a force, seems like he cramped up a couple times but dude next to Suh can make some plays. Carroo made some solid catches as well against Richard Sherman. Could he intimidating but he did well.
- Safety play was Awesome.
- Steen substituting for Pouncey, played pretty well.
- Why do the Dolphins even have tight ends?
- Would have been nice to see Parker play, see if anything changed.

+ Around The League
- Is this the year AP finally loses it? Didn't look good at all.
- Jags still have no identity but have pieces.
- Wentz is hall of fame bound.
- RG3 still has no clue when to throw it away, slide, or run out of bounds because he doesn't learn.
- Aaron Rodgers is ridiculous. Would like to see Lacy get going earlier.
- MM8 and the Titans... yikes.
- I can't stand the Patriots.
- It's only a matter of time before Bills give their best of luck's on their future endeavors for Rex and Vince Howard. Sammy hurt again, shocker.
- Been a fan of Keenan Allen since college, really sucks to see this happen to him.
- Jameis looked Skrong.
- Raiders vs Saints was fun to watch.
- Jets and Chargers lulz.
- Matty Stafford flourishing with out Calvin holdumback Johnson.
- Andrew Luck will die again sometime this season unfortunately. Dude has minimal help.
- Christmas Day was fun.

-Brees is still that man

-Losing Delvin Breaux for 6 week sucks considering what the defense looked like after he went out

-BMW could possibly be the best WR trio this year.

-Tom Brady is a system quarterback
-Bill Belichick is the GOAT
-Jameis is a dog, he ain't no puppy
- Browns' "fake punt"
-Rg3 is fragile and water is wet. They need to look towards April already.
-Dak proves that preseason still doesn't mean ****
-Wentz looked good. It's the Browns, but an NFL defense, nonetheless. Not many thought he could play that well and he proved them wrong.
-Stafford was impressive without megatron
-Mariota :x

-I'm still bitter about yesterday's loss. Kenny Stills should be doing five-a-days all week

no clue how tanne threw his way after that.. almost feel that way about brock and fuller, but at least fuller is a rookie

While we're praising Stafford's performance yesterday, let's keep in mind that Indy has one of the most banged up secondaries in the league right now.
