Things people do that you dont understand

I heard about that about 10 years ago .. I'm sure it's more than that ... But still 42000 a year is not bad compare to a lot of people ... Of course it's not much for a major city but let's not kid ourselves .... West coast is a lot more than San Diego/La/Bay Area ....

Did you mean 20,000 per year or 20 per hour?

If 20 per hour you might wanna check that math not sure where you got 42,000 from. Of course 42,000 is great salary especially for that type of works but something's in life worth more than money

40 hours X $20=$800

$800 X 52 weeks=$41,600

Close enough to $42,000.

People that come to drive thrus & bridge tolls etc and half *** reach out with their right hand instead of their left hand, making you pull a Mr. Fantastic just to grab the damn money.

Never ever understood that ****. Just lazy & dumb.

Agreed thats completely understandable.

Could be a litany of reasons.....kids to pick up...another job....night classes.

I dont see how an individual cannot understand that its a reasonably simple concept

As a matter of fact if there was a thread called "things people do that you can understand ", i would post that very scenario

Man all yall some lazy ***, non dedicated, no climbin up the ladder *** ******.

Right, because there's no way you can move up the ladder by getting your work done during the time you're supposed to.

Y'all the reason jobs go to Mexico and Asia, looking at ur watch to see when it's exactly 2 hours from start to talk y'all break .. lol [emoji]128514[/emoji] good forbid u wrk 3 straight hours with no break .

I always get to work early. It's rare that I'm "on time". I work some OT every now and then, but honestly, I'm able to get my work done in less than 8 hours, so hanging out and staring at my screen when I have nothing to do is not only stealing from the company, it's ******* boring.

Add to that, traffic gets incrementally worse with every 5 minutes around a certain time and I have no incentive to stay. Our company even started limiting OT in my department because people were milking the hell out of it... staying an extra 4 hours a day. Now you can do 30 minutes before and 30 after your shift and that's it. And I also have to pick my daughters up at a certain time.
