Any objective person knows that the NFL was trash this season. Culminating in that joke of a Super Bowl ending.

Why is it thread jacking if you are discussing basketball? :nerd:

Apparently coming back to the thread with 60 new post and discovering it wasn't because of a trade is a Capitol offense around here. I didn't know there was a limit to how many times I'm allowed to talk Wizards or John Wall. Although I spent the day talking about Dwight Howard. Strange rules in here.

this still the NBA thread right?

yeah there were like 4 entertaining games the entire season
the league is set up to take advantage of young (black) athletes..
its a business where they dont take accountability for lifelong damage the sport causes, injuries that cost several players their own lives

how is the league set up to take advantage of young black athletes? and the NBA starts to matter in May since a handful of teams actually have a chance each year

I love the NBA but keep it real

no guaranteed contracts, you can cut someone because they are injured. take their livelihood away with no recourse or compensation for them..guess you dont have to be young to be taken advantage of, but chances are you wont last long enough to be older...whats the avg career for an nfl player?

why is it legal to hit a RB helmet to helmet but not a QB?

Panthers and Broncos went from making the SB to not making the playoffs.

Meanwhile in the NBA everyone expects Warriors vs Cavs for the 3rd straight year.

NFL > NBA

So you are saying they don't let the QB get hit in the helmet bc the majority are white? :nerd:

yall are free to enjoy whatever sport you desire
but to defend the NFL on the variety of serious issues they have i find to be in poor taste

The NFL is more unpredictable but as far as the actual product the NBA has been much better this year. The NFL playoffs was trash other than that Dallas/Green Bay game.

that is the worst argument to play race with

that is the NFL as a whole

QB play was trash all season too.

Texans QB stable
browns QB stable
Blaine Gabbeert started multiple games
Fitzpatrick
Bortles
Tannehill had to stop passing for his team to win
That trash offense of the Vikings
Broncos offense was trash
Jay Cutler was jay cutler
Case Keenum

NBA >>>

yet you still manage to come in here and talk nonsense about john wall

Yep because I'm a sports fan. That doesn't mean I believe every sport is equally entertaining. Besides that NT is open for anyone to post anywhere they feel free. Shrugs

im not mad i enjoy when ppl come in here to talk about sports with passion

just referring to your point its a foregone conclusion whos gonna win the title..yet there are like 10 other things dominating the headlines

Dude doesn't realize the nature of the game is violent and players run a much higher risk of injury. Under a salary cap you can't guarantee these contracts. Also nobody forces any athlete to play in the NFL. They choose to play knowing the risk. This isn't back in the day where players don't know what can happen to them.

The Wizards should trade John Wall and a 1st round pick to the Sixers for Okafor :nerd:

We'll give you Marcus Thornton for Okafor straight up.

Chances Westbrook are Durant are co-MVP's like Shaq and Kobe were when they still couldnt stand each other?

Parity doesn't equal great play. The product on the field was trash this year.
