Absolutely not. Again, why would you bring in a scoring SF when he has to guard LeBron?

1. Bron, or whoever gets that duty, has to guard him also. A guy like Butler would put substantially more pressure on the defense than Crowder. Even if you slow Butler down, you have to expend a lot of energy to do so. He's very physical.

2. Isiah is 5'9" and his playoff efficiency has been awful. He's looked MUCH better in the regular season but the playoffs are another animal. Having another proven big time perimeter threat will not hurt in May.

Crowder would guard Lebron.

Draft Fultz and then what? That doesn't take them anywhere. None of their current young players have all star potential. Fultz and IT backcourt? Will not work for obvious reasons.

They went all in before. They can keep 2018 pick and go all in now too. It's a win win situation.

I enjoy reading all these irrelevant fan bases bash Danny for not pulling off the "big trade"

Meanwhile we're sitting here two games back from the 1st seed without jeopradizing our franchise with big contracts

Like I was explaining to youngin, a lot of zeke jr's playoff struggles are due to him being the only shot creator on the team. I'm all for sending Stringer to Boston.

I definitely think Walter McCarty can help Toronto.

When is Melo's fat *** getting traded to LA doe?

Al is a big contract.

And will not look good soon.....

Fultz is 6'4" with an almost 6'10" wingspan. He can guard either guard spot.

Not sure why he & Thomas wouldn't work.

Moot point though because I think they should get Jimmy if its on the table.

This is the year. Hobbled Kevin Love, LeBron playing way too many minutes and getting no rest, lack of roster depth. Celtics gotta let all those picks go and get someone else and go for it.

Rising Stars MVP: Kristaps Porzingis
Skills Challenge: John Wall
3 point contest: CJ McCollum

Won't work because?

They both need the ball in their hands to be fully effective. Bradley is a much better compliment. I can't see it being similar to Dame and CJ situation.

Seeding doesn't matter. They can be first seed for all I care. You need to build a team that'll beat the Cavs or Warriors in a 7 game series. Right now I doubt they'll
even beat the wizards or Raptors in 7. Forget the Cavs.

All I'm saying is they can go all in now without hindering their future.

The only reason I mention more perimeter help is because I think it helps IT a little more. Having another G/F who can score can help IT in the long run (especially in the playoffs). Boston does need rebounding help, but I think they can obtain a guy like Tyson Chandler from Phoenix to play alongside Horford. That's if the goal is to move Horford to PF. Maybe Derrick Favors? Andrew Bogut? I just think their problems up front are more centered around rim protection and rebounding more so than scoring.

They would still have the ability to mix and match lineups as well.

This makes a lot more sense then going for a SF. Boston would be better suited grabbing a cheap big willing to rebound and do the dirty work. Bogut and Tyson would suit this role well. Favors would have them undersized, especially against offensive rebounding Thompson.

Crazy how the Magics had great or good players like Shaq, penny, tmac, Steve Francis and D12 and still have haven't won a championships and are usually a middle of the pack or below team

They've had many deep runs into the playoffs though and 2 NBA Finals appearances. They just can't seem to sustain their success.

LeBron would stick to Butler, but chances are, when they go small, they will send someone like Jefferson to stick Butler.

Having another perimeter guy would've helped, but that still doesn't address the defensive issues. Also, they could've nabbed Korver, if Clev did for scrapes

Jimmy and Gibson for Bradley, Zeller, Olynyk, Jerebko and pick(s).

This makes all the sense in the world, but what you're calling for is a serious gut check. Most people don't have the stones or gut check to pull the trigger. Does Danny Ainge have it in him to go all-in?
