Got back into sneakers this year after not buying anything since probably 2007. Sad that I could not recover my 2003 Niketalk username.

Awesome year. I remember as a kid, only being able to get maybe 3 Jordan's a year. So every time a hot retro came out, I was on here watching others cop. I remember I had the 2003 Flu Game XII. It looks like they are more hyped now than they were then. In 2003, the Nubucks and Playoffs were hyped.

The 3,4,5, and 11s were always grails to me, and I always felt like I'd never own them. It's kind of a trip that all of these were so accessible. It feels like I'm cheating. It's also crazy to me that so many retros sit on shelfs, especially OG colorways. That never used to happen.

Only got cement 4, black 5 and space jams! Very happy with my haul but should have got the wool 12s too

Maroons are fantastic, but they released December 2015.

I also recently picked the 72-10's. Which are far superiors than the recent Space Jams.
 
That list of all the retros this year is ridiculous, I can't believe how many released. This was definitely one of the best years in a while. The only thing that killed it for me was the price.
But it still was a great year for me, only copped 2 pairs. Got my all time favorites (Black metallic V's) with NIke Air :pimp:
and the last shoe on my "copping all the J's I had when I was younger and destroyed them list " (indiglo XIV's) :pimp:
Took a L on Black/Red I's and didn't have the money for White/Cement IV's or Space Jams, I would've liked getting those but I'm still happy with the pairs I got.
 
The price for the retro's now have never settled well with me. Especially when the quality doesn't justify the price.

I remember when Air Jordan's used to be comfortable. Wore my True Blue 3's for a whole day and I was dying to get out of them by the end of the night.

I'm thinking about getting my first xii. How were the flu games? Quality? How do they fit compared with the OG 1s?

I mainly wear Jordans when not dressed up but I'm getting older and seem to have narrowed down the shoes from JB that I like enough to wear.

My favs in order and probably the only shoes I will continue to purchase from JB :

Space Jams tied with a cleaan pair of 72-10s
Playoff XIIIs
Playoff XIIs
BC3 - I would customize the tongue to be black instead of gray.


There are a few select shoes I will consider if done right. Concords for example. Would absolutely purchase if they dropped them with a white tumbled leather upper. That one photoshopped black 3 that has the white midsole as well. Maybe a black 2011 with a white midsole and that's about it.

Royal IVs look decent (as you can tell I like the black models with the white midsoles the best) but I'm basically done with the 1, 2, 4-10, 15-31. Not really my style.

Been retired for awhile and had sold almost everything off. Hadn't bought a pair of Js since the VI Infrared pack in 2010. Man late 2015 with the Aquas and 2016 brought me right back. This was definitely a classic year. Hard to resist. Metallic Vs are definitely top 3-4 this year.
 
A lot of heat dropped this year. As far as my pick ups, its gotta be the Breds, Blk toes, and WC IVs. Didn't go for the Space Jams, I have five pairs of XIs so I figured I could pass, plus Ive copped enough shoes already this year, but they look incredible. Even the new sig model in the XXXI was a hit.
