JB 2016 Year in Review

With the annual holiday xi release behind us, it is now the time that we can reflect on what we liked didn't like from JB this year. Any thoughts about JB pertaining to 2016 are welcomed.

I personally tried cutting down a bit this year, but still ended up grabbing most 12s and of course the 11s. This year was one of the best ever in terms of releases, there was something for everyone.

Here are my starting 5 from this year:

I have been into Jordans since the OG taxi 12, and I must say that the 2016 space jams are my absolute favorite sneaker ever. Despite being produced in record numbers, the quality overall was great. It amazes me how jb did these so weLL when there were so many complaints for the true blue 3s. Then again, if jb was going to do one shoe right, I'm glad it was the space jams. I did t gene the 1s any love as they are too narrow for my wide feet, but the releases for them were top notch. All in all, 2016 might be JB's best year ever.

This was a polarizing year for JB retros as a whole as you had serious heat in OG retros (Banned 1s, Space Jams, Black Toes) and complete garbage (Mango 9 lows, wool 3s, Bulls 17s, and honestly pretty much every other GR retro+ cw).

While everyone drooled over how limited the 1s this year, and even thigh I'm satisfied with my bred/blk toe, I'm must happy i got the cement 4s and metallic 5s easy because folks don't like grs or spending extra 30

A lot of heat when bt 1s, cherry lows, tb3s, indiglios and French blue 12s don't make the cut... almost a 2nd top 5
I did like gold 5s, alternative 5 lows, cm3s, both wool 3 and 11s.. the 11s sadly I'll probably never own and navy 16s and UK 1s which are hopefully my next purchases.
As usual jb hit us with alot of garbage both red 2 and 9 come to mind but as far as retro plus cws this year wasn't nearly as bad as last year!

Looking at royals, chi 13 really any og 13s, motorsport 4s
And hopefully bc3s!

1. SJ killed this release, packaging was sick, shoes are flawless
2. Metallic 5 were great, top quality imo, I really love the dark J's for sake of staying clean in winter.
3. Bred 1 banned are just a classic. Leather could have been better but with jeans is there a better classic shoe? Bc3 I guess.
4. TBs which had sketchy quality but I love the snug fit and they look great with shorts.
5. Top 3 1s

I copped the top 4 but with Lance Mountains and being old AF I couldn't justify the top 3s. But they are cool.

BTs were a world beater release. Classic, good quality all around. Plentiful to cop. Can't go wrong. 

Top 3s were one of the best releases this year. After initially shunning them, I've had them on feet the past week and they are something special fo sho.

2016 has def. been a resurrection for me--to the credit of all the OG colorways releasing.
