This year was so great, I can't come up with a top five. IMO, the best retro release ever. My favorite pickups of the year are...

Like some of you here, this year brought me out of a hiatus (since 2012 for me). Didn't go crazy this year though. Bought too much other kicks outside JB. Oh well.

- Metallic Vs; had a chance to go to the Employee store and found these for half off... good timing I suppose, but I wasn't gonna buy them otherwise. had the '07s and sold em because the quality sucked. this year's is way better.

This could've been a toss up for me between cherry 11s and alternate 12s don't get me wrong this colorway is a classic but this release looked off to me didn't care for the shape or color honestly felt the same about french blue 12s (used to be one of my favorite 12s) but this colorway cannot be denied also included WC because of history colorway and them bringing back NA honestly preferred the tech grey ones because they are sturdy and held shape all these years but that's just me
My Top 10 consisted of shoes I copped not including hypebeast pairs or pairs I didn't get first hand some colorways were nice and could've made the cut like the nylon 12s top 3 1s but to me and being true to my taste I went with shoes I'll be able to bust out years from now and still think they are fresh and not just momentary hype.

Pairs I copped ranked:
1. WC4 - classic, most comfortable retro
2. Blk/red 1s - I'll just buy them again when they release with brighter smooth red leather
3. French Blue 12 - Second best 12 colorway for me.
4. N7 XXXI - They might be #1 if the huge jumpman wasn't there.
5. XXX Launch colorway - They just do it for me.
5. '95 playoff 11s - Shape/quality is overrated IMO. 'Leather' on back is trash. But craftsmanship was on point and finally getting the colorway right makes these rank.
6. French Blue 12 - Second best 12 colorway for me. decent enough quality.
7. DFA 4 - Best leather on any retro this year. Super slept on. Go BLUE!
On the fence for storm blues.

Top 3s were such a bad shoe in my opinion. Comments about quality don't help either. Quality doesn't make the shoe ant less ugly and repulsive to me. I think these are the worst release this year over those Olympic 7s
