Participation and Acceptance of Anyone who wants to come into this thread... including the mod. Do people, fan of team A, make fun and throw nonsense at fans of team B, C, and D? Yes. That's sports and friendly banter.

This thread is also not a recruiting department... it's a thread of like minded individuals. So you're looking for others to join, last I knew no one had the authority to keep them out other than you and a mod. Should we be holding them by the hands and walking them in here? Seems like you've used quote a lot of baby and immature references to the ones participating, Should the same be said about the ones who don't contribute? Have to hold their hand, wear your big boy pants, etc? The insults and your interpretation just don't make sense to people who have been here for years. But I will specifically speak on myself in that matter.

I started the other thread, based on Genral Sports Talk with side activities. In less than two seconds it was moved to music when it was made clear it will be based on general sports talk... Just doesn't make sense.

I did so at the other drafts previously
I didn't get any hate for it

However, one person came in 2 days ago and said the thread sucks and that he didn't see any football talk even though he didn't contribute anything of value prior to saying that

Babyjs came in to try and get things back on topic, but he didn't want to be heavy-handed about it.  We can all appreciate that.  At the same time, we had a problem that needed to be solved.  

I have no problem being the "bad guy" if necessary.  I think the request here is entirely reasonable and consistent with how the site has always been run.  It's a football thread.  People who want to talk Music can do so in the Music forum. 

NikeTalk is a community of like-minded individuals.  This is a FOOTBALL THREAD.  I don't expect you to recruit from all over the world.  I don't expect you to recruit anyone.  If you're in this thread, I expect you to talk football and not exclude others who want to do the same.  If you want to talk music, you can talk music with like-minded individuals in the music forum.

I'm not letting you run 20 pages of Yeezy discussion in here because you want to keep up with the latest Yeezy releases, but not in the presence of those peons in the other Yeezy thread and the only people you feel comfortable with are those in this one thread.  Every thread can't be its own sub-community.  I think that's pretty easy to understand.  

You seem to think this is like a bunch of people hanging out in the conference room at the end of the day talking sports, and here comes the big, bad boss to tell you that you need to move it to the break area or take it across the street out of pettiness.  Not so.  This is like a bunch of people hanging out in the conference room talking sports when other people need to use the conference room for its intended purpose.  And you can say "where are they then", but people have spent hours creating a big stink in here and I don't expect everyone to come back now with all the childish "YOU'RE THE SNITCH" finger-pointing.  The conversation will return, at the very latest, on game day - and it will do so now without the spillover from a wholly unrelated music tangent.  

Sneaker release threads go through lulls when there are no major releases, too.  That doesn't mean that they're being inefficiently used, because that downtime could have been spent on another Nas vs. Jay Z argument.  

We both know what time it is with the "drafts" thread.  You have a problem with that, you talk to me in PM.  I'm not looking the other way and pretending that wasn't a music thread - and we've already been through the "sometimes this is a music thread" argument with TAN.

We roasted the cowboys.. we talked about all stuff with Facebook live.. talked about Joshy turning down the 9ers.. all things Kirk

We talked roll over salaries.. we talked romo.. if news came up we discussed.. but ain't much


This is what we do in the NFL thread.. BS til the games come on.. or have some petty trash talk.. then when the games come on or something happens we focus on that

Literally only 3 games left, 4 teams.. and ain't much happening league wise cause they kinda gotta wait.. and there is a separate thread for the draft.. and individual team threads for stuff most folks don't care about (like cutting a no name center for cap reasons)
