CLOSED, NEW THREAD OPENED

Reggie learned a lot in his first two seasons as GM. He's comfortable now.

I love it.

Take the top 10 talent at 24. U need someone to guard Tyreek Hill. Instantly becomes our #1CB.

That 9ers Defense is gonna be filthy, they ain't playing no games with they picks. Reggie need to take lessons from lynch.

Like I said, KNJ is still in the house so this defense is questionable even if we drafted Garrett

Only player I wouldve been OK w was Watts brother. He is a savage. Of course Pitt got him

can't find it now but I remember seeing something about Conley meeting with Cleveland PD on Monday

Wouldn't mind another CB tomorrow. Budda Baker, Sidney Jones, Kevin King, Chidobe :nerd:
Also Raekwon McMillen might be available if they go ILB, altho I don't expect them to pick an ILB before Saturday. If they go ILB, I'd keep my eys on Alex Anzalone out of Florida.

Need help @ DT as well. Still need future OTs but I trust Reggie to find gems so I'm not too pressed on getting an OT in here.

Gareon Conley Bio

Position: CB
School: Ohio State
College Experience: Junior
Height: 6-0
Weight: 195 lbs.

Strengths

Versatile. Can line up at either outside position or the slot from either press or off coverage. Comfortable in man or zone defense.
Explosive. Shows great burst off the line, breaking on passes, and coming up in run support. Matches acceleration with receivers running downfield.
Has ideal height and length for a corner and plays bigger than his measurables suggest.
Smooth. Transitions very well from backpedal to forward running. Tracks ball well and breaks up passes with good body control.
Weaknesses

Route discipline. Can allow receivers to gain separation by losing them while eyes are on quarterback. Can get lost in off coverage.
Run Support. Is passive when defending the run. Seems content to play on the outside and play safe against possibility of big run.

COMBINE STATS

VERTICAL JUMP: 37.0 INCH
BROAD JUMP: 129.0 INCH
