While the racist **** is more of the garden variety Eastern Euro type (he's not a pro white nationalist like Povetkin for example) it's still not a good look, and when he first got over here and before his manager probably got in his ear about it, he never really seemed like he GAF about killing that guy in the ring.  Which is fine is one sense I guess, but don't make jokes like "I guess that's why he or no one else should ever get in the ring with me" and ****.

I'm a fan of the fighter but not the person.  Kinda like how I feel about Manny too now tbh

Yeah, you may be right.  He definitely has come off as extremely racist on social media with the whole Adonis Stevenson thing.  I'm sure that isn't the only instance and it isn't a good look when your coach has to come out an try to tell people you're not racist.  I get what you're saying about Eastern Europe though, I can't imagine what growing up must've been like for Ismayl Sillakh.
The beauty of boxing is that due to the number of criteria that goes into judging every judge has the right to establish what is most important to them thus why you get different scores. Also these refs are ringside and can only see one side of the fight in real time so naturally you will miss things.

Going to a fight live is way different then on TV.most fights don't even have the clock up for display which I thought was different. Nonetheless I hate Olympic style scoring.just cause a guy can touch you doesnt mean he is or should be winning the fight
I can't disagree with you here at all.  Perspectives are vastly different for the judges and they often have to decide if they think a punch landed or not when they have no clear view. Punches landed definitely isn't the end all be all, but you can't win a fight if you're on the back foot while simultaneously missing most of your punches and being on the receiving end of significantly more of your opponent's shots. I'm not a fan of Floyd, but I recognize that he actively lands more shots on his opponents regardless of damage caused while constantly making them miss.

Crazy BC while we think Floyds shots don't hurt there is a reason guys don't get in the ring with him and take chances

Still can't believe this McGregor thing is making headway

There is something to be said about accuracy even when one punch power isn't there. I'm sure Mayweather's punches don't tickle even if his power didn't follow him as he moved up in weight.

You can almost look at it like Walters against Lomachenko. Backstage after the fight he told Lomachenko that he couldn't land any of his best punches while he was getting caught by every punch Lomachenko threw. I think Lomachenko likely would've stopped him if the fight continued, but the fact that he quit essentially out of frustration says a lot. It has to wear on you if you're putting fourth your best performance and can literally do nothing of meaning.

Dude is going to come out hard in their rematch. Really don't like Ward but I do respect the guy for the challenges he has taken.
