Jim Jones interview w/ Funk flex, spills guts + Cam Response

It's cringeworthy going back and listening to juelz

My gun hotter then the stove is on
So hot even I thought the stove was on
But the stove was off
I was just rolling hot :smh:

Juelz and cam swag made you ignore the dumb **** they were saying

lol I was never a fan of Juelz on that track, he bodied Only Way Up on that album though. it gets outshined because Killa dropped the verse of the century.

jims situation is how business is across the board

jim should've just leveraged his fame and leadership skills to create opportunities outside of dipset

for instance 50 not waiting on em to sign a vitamin water deal or any other deal outside of interscope

you can't wait to be done right by others

you have to do right for yourself

it looks worst coming from your brother but in business most of these situations are standard

no one is gonna look out for you better than you

jim is no different than lil wayne, they both decided to keep it rap as opposed to a jay z who gets a bulk of his money outside of rap

wayne didn't start to branch out til he had his own shoe with Supra but he was a decade late to the game

Crazy how Stacks didnt shine like he shouldve. He had the wordplay/lyrics,image,and hustle.I remember Max saying Jim would block them from making money on there own.He said rappers would call asking for there price for a feature.Jim wouldnt tell them that.I guess thats the price you pay if your signed to somebody.Spoon fed.Cant make money,or make moves on your own.Jim had them hostage for his benifit only.We didnt even get solo,s from them. Its strange to hear Jim speak positive on Stacks. But Stacks Mr 19.5 freestyle was going at jim. Then when Chinx got released from prison. He wasnt messing with Jim at all.He got with French. From the outside looking in.Everything ads up.I want to see if Max still has it when he gets out.Hes definitely going to get his shot.Being his homie (French) came up huge while hes been locked up.

Jim is real good at finding and using talent when he see it.He shouldve gotten some paperwork done for LHH.That show started out with just him and his girl. His mistake was not knowing how big the show would be.That show is huge.Theres no telling how much he couldve made off of that.VH1 got super rich just off of his idea.I also find it odd. That Alpo posted a recent picture of him and his son on Social Media. All the while Cam and Jim are going at it.

Mel Matrix adlibs were always hilarious, don't know who's where funnier, his or Jones.

Stacks never signed the warner brothers/asylum deal because he didn't want to sign his publishing to Jim like Max did, that's why we never got an album.

But Stack should have BEEN a star prior to Jim, but Clue goofed. Still want know how Clue managed to fumble w/ Desert Storm, he had a squad man.

I never thought Juelz was that good. I thought it was funny what Cam was acting like he was the second coming of Nas. I thought Rell was a whole lot better.

and I thought Cam got lazy and sloppy, along with what Nas was saying.

huh?

Jim does have his own thing

He's been doing reality tv, Vamp Life, the racers joint, some sort of drink, trap phones....

He's probably done more than Cam

Under no circumstance was Jim EVER better than Juelz, and he wasn't NEAR santana in popularity. Also what people forget is that During there run Juelz was dropping music & freestyles at a rapid pace. Son was flooding every mixtape, Street DVD, & features.

He is in the same vein as Wayne as far as his skill goes, he's had bars that read ridiculous but on the song it worked & worked very well. However they could Easily step it up when need be and could hang on a track with anybody.

let's rank it... is it Maino level? Shay Davis? Tony Moxberg? J hood? Freekey Zeke?

Cas has had three tracks (including the Don't run Remix) so quite frankly there ain't enough music to judge, & with that said Don't Run is a great song, hence why it caught on the way it did. Not to mention it DESTROYS clubs anytime it drops. I think he could have a run like Maino which isn't a bad thing low key Maino's had more success than A lot of ****** when you think back on it.

- Choke No Joke

Many people called me and asked me my thoughts on the @mr_camron and @Jimjonescapo incident. I watched the Cam'ron Live from beginning to end and I know I don't have enough characters to address everything so I'm going make it direct as I can. I hope Cam or Jim don't get upset. It's just my opinion and I was around for a lot of this.

1. I think Cam misunderstood when Jim say he jerked him in business. I believe Jim felt that being that he was down with Cam since he was a rapper and they all grew together that when a company was created he thought they would be partners on paper like Jäy, Biggs and Dame. Now Cam could've put them on the paper work on some real sh*t and Jim could've made sure when the company was formed that he was on the paper work. So they both are at fault for not communicating the split of the company.

2. The reason Jim feels entitled to apart of the company because he helped build it. It wasn't Cam'ron the rapper anymore it was the Diplomats and it became a business. Now when Jim say he was the manager, hype man, security and road manager that is because he carry the job description at times of a manager plus more.

The Diplomats were the rappers but Dipset was the street ****** and muscle behind the Diplomats. Cam was Diplomats and Jim was Dipset which eventually turned to Byrdgang.

3. Cam'ron seeing Jim build Byrdgand and go and copyright it was foul. If it wasn't Cam would've told Jim you are building a new movement with this Byrdgang thing let's make it a business. Not make it a business and not tell him and now Jim can't make money of a brand he created and built because Cam owns it.

4. The T-Shirt because your man fell in love was FOUL! Who plays like that? Them shirts kills Jim street credibility and make him look like a foul ***** in the streets. That's not funny!

5. How he let Mendeecees sh*t on Jim was crazy. If Jim let Tru Life sh*t on him on his platform he would be wrong. How I remembered it Big Joe was with Cam'ron when Tru Life rolled up and he threatened Big Joe if he jump in it would be a problem. Big Joe didn't help Cam that night Cam cut Joe off. #camron #jimjones

All of this

I think Jim looked at it as a partnership. When Cam didn't, because he was the "talent". Sort of like 50.

Is that supposed to be a good thing?

The man in your Avi absolutely thinks he's one of the best rappers of the past decade & change so yes i would say that's a good thing

There's no argument that 10 years ago Wayne was one of, if not, THE BEST rapper in hip hop. He kept that momentum for at least another year or two before people really started to realize that his bars weren't the same anymore.

I certainly remember Elz and Wayne being at the same level around the time I can't feel my Face was buzzing.

It sucks to think that Juelz could've been much bigger had it not been for Cam but thats part of the game. My boy argues that if Juelz was really meant to be that big an artist he would've done more after his contract was sold off to Def Jam. I can't front he's right. Elz was great for the earlier stages of the 2000s but he really didn't have the work ethic to go the distance.
