Well my dad is a white supremacist so damn near everything coming out of his mouth is wrong. Thankfully my mom raised me right.

Apparently he wasn't like that when she married him. Mom said he gradually became more and more racist as he started drinking more and turned into an alcoholic.
He was also a domestic abuser so he kept my mom from divorcing for a long time.
He's been a racist and a drunk for as long as I can remember so I don't really have any good memories from him. In terms of actual parenting it was my mom doing all the work and raising me to never end up anything like my dad. Personality wise I'm very much like my mom.

you most certainly do not today if you're savvy enough, but I kinda think it was that way when our parents were our age...crazy how society can shift in mere decades.
I'm glad there was a halfway decent explanation for this, there was certainly schplainin' to be done here.
