Stolen: Asking Your Girl For Money/Favors

Overheard a conversation while standing in line at Chipotle. 8)

Do yall ask your girl for money/favors? If so, when and why did you feel comfortable doing so? If not, whats your reasoning for not asking?

Any favor.

Like, I couldn't see myslf asking a girl to borrow her car.

never really been in a position to have to borrow ANYBODY'S car. I would feel funny asking any human that, personally. That is just me.

Money: I have never asked because I didn't HAVE it, I have asked because I didn't have cash ON ME. (I got you back when we get back to the house)

Never borrowed. Don't think I could. Would ask a male friend if I had to ask SOMEONE

But I am very cautious what I ask. I don't want to ask stuff that a child boy would ask his mother for. Like, wash my clothes, or iron my clothes. Some stuff is off limits TO ME.

About a decade ago I wasn't doing the best and I've been in situations where I had to ask for both (not set the same time). My pride didn't want to but it was for something important. To pay rent or get to work.
 
No problem with it.
After we exclusive. If she feels comfortable asking me for favors or to borrow money. I feel comfortable asking her as well.
 
I dont really like asking for favors period .

Not a favor asker.

But i mean eventually you might need a favor for whatever reason. Say i was working and my parents came in on a flight visiting.....id ask my girl to pick em up.....non issue...its not eem a thing.

A favor = Yes but I'll get straight to the point. I need a yes or no answer immediately.
 
Unless it's a dire situation, what reason would you need to borrow money from your girl?

When I didn't have it hell yeah I'd ask.

In HS and college age years it was mostly girls with cars.

I mean it isn't your wife right?

Stuff needs to be paid back.

Example, say if "something" happens and your girl needs to bail you out of jail (extreme situation, I know), you need $600. You don't think you should have to pay her back?

Remember, there ARE some people that live paycheck to paycheck. I am sure we are fortunate enough NOT to have to deal with that, but there are a lot of folks hurting financially out there man

That sounds like a dire situation (bills, food, etc.)...and unless it's something of that nature, why else would you be borrowing money?
 
Live with as in split rent?

If I need help because I forgot my wallet at home, *scoff* , you better hold me down, I got you when we get back home anyway.

I never been about finessing chicks to buy expensive gifts anyway, never feel like it's mine. Yeah She bought it, but She'll break it/ take it back/ pawn it when you don't act right too.

If you're cohabitating then it shouldn't get too petty if both people have their heads on straight.

This. Who cares, if we in this together and I need to hold 20 what's the big deal? Same with her. Or We still living by 60s rules?
 
I couldn't live with myself if I had to ask a female to borrow something

The concept itself is downright unfathomable
