Marcos Rojo to ManU is apparently done according to Argentinian sources, just waiting on some of the credible UK media to confirm it.

This is pretty cool:

Rojo already recruiting.

According to twitter his sister or wife have been on a IG liking spree too. Lol, he unliked some of the pictures, probably was told to.  I don't think Di Maria is going to happen though. Hard to see him in the EPL

Hmm a MU kit that is red and says Rojo on the back, hmm.

Marcos Rojo on ARG Radio Continental right now: 'It feels like a dream, to be a Manchester United player. Leaving Sporting wasn't easy.'

Why didn't Woodward do this a month ago? >:

why leave it until now? Why couldn't he be proactive instead of reactive? >:

United needs a director of football...

BRING BACK GILL!

@FootyHumour: Cesc Fabregas got more assists in his first 45 mins for Chelsea than Carrick, Fletcher, Cleverley and Fellaini got last season combined.

I like what i saw of Rojo in the WC (never saw him before).. can play as CB but better as a LB.. so still no dominating CB.. no Dominating CMF.. :smh:

Are United going to go back to 4 in the back then?  With 3 in the back where does Rojo fit in?  Will he play over Shaw?

I remember when Rojo was considered the weak link of Argentina's back-line. After a strong WC and lack of surplus in elite LB's, he secures his dream move to OT.

I think LVG will be forced to go to 4-3-3. I don't think 3 at the back will work. Naturally he's trying to accommodate Mata, Rooney, RVP in their natural positions and also work with what players he currently has, but I think he'll revert back to 4 at the back.

:smh: The Glazers just need to make Woody the head of corporate endorsements and marketing or something...

I've read about this Nani to Sporting on a loan for a while now, so there's definitely some fire beneath that smoke. And then I read something like this....

Sport Witness ‏@Sport_Witness 24m
If reported figures are correct, and Man United are paying Nani's wages then they could have got Carvalho for about €3.5m more.

If United really have the money that Woody claimed, why didn't they just PSG'it this summer and throw money at the problem?

It's gotten to the point where fans are planning an anti-Glazer protest at OT after the TW if there aren't any more signings
laugh.gif
. I wouldn't mind seeing Woodward go the way of Moyes soon since it looks as though he'll drop the ball again this TW

. How are you making record profits from sponsorship deals and tours then going on to spending almost none of it to improve your club? Really missing David Gill right about now.

It's actually beyond ridiculous. These dudes are signing up everything from jersey to Japanese noodle and tomato juice sponsors, not even bothering to read the fine print that states "you A$* better be in Champions League so we get the exposure we require". With that mega Adidas deal, I thought that was going to the catalyst for United to overspend on anyone and everyone to just get them guaranteed CL footy again. :smh:

Woody will sign Blind and Rojo and look at LVG to do God's work this season :smh:

Word is there's a massive rift between LVG and Woody right now, and LVG has the suits scared in the boardroom. We'll see what happens though...

At this point United need to get Di Maria, overspend, do whatever you have to do. If you can give a kid 30 million pounds you have to go after someone with quality like Di Maria, he'll be the number 7.

I just dont understand united. All that money for sponsers, knowing you need to spend to even place high enough for europe...but not spending at all basically on players that can instantly transform you into another level. (di maria)

Glazernomics.

United have always been a conservative club when it's come down to spending. They've joined this party too late. They're just getting into this "multi-million dollar spending business" they're still new to this. Naivety....they'll learn tho.

This isn't the "United Way" remember the class of 92?

BTW...where's Shinji?
Major reason I'm proactively and prematurely selecting the Dutch to win on Russian soil in 2018. Memphis, Wijnaldum, Clasie, Blind, Martins Indi, Cillessen, de Vrij, Janmaat all learned in Brasil through trial by fire. Valuable experience moving forward internationally. Their defense and goalkeeping will be stout not to mention a wealth of midfield options presented by Maher, Strootman, Narsingh. How could I possibly omit the Kongolo brothers as future star defenders.
