🦉The Official Drake Thread6️⃣ - Scary Hours 3 11.17.23

Time out time out. How am I making up stuff you never said?

You said it, not me
Didn't Wiz opt of out touring with Drake? Didn't he opt of signing with Ross? Did he lose anything long term?

I think not...

And how is it that just because I don't believe Drake is the biggest rap artist out I'm hating? Jay-Z doesn't exist? Eminem isn't about to drop another album and crush Drakes first week sales? Come on son. Everything isn't hate. Some **** is just a different matter of opinion. I like Drake, but sorry I'm not his "biggest fan" like a lot of people are.

Where did I say "career suicide" ?

Did I use the word "potentially"?

Take the L dude

Did I not say you're talking "AS IF" he was committing career suicide?

Last time I checked, I didn't directly quote you saying that.

Lets read clearly next time.

There will be no L's taken today my good sir. Looks like you're guilty of the same damn crime I am...

Neglected his core fans???? This ***** is literally on EVERY street single possible... From Khaled, Drama, Scream ....... FBG mixtape has not one "pop" song on it.... not to mention COUNTLESS features with cats like Gucci, Rocko, Gotti etc etc

Btwn UOENO & Bugatti he probably had the biggest street anthems of the year

Yeah he makes hits but if you think Bugatti, and UOENO are "street anthems" then I highly suggest you go listen to future's earlier music. "My Ho 2" , "yeah yeah", "out da mudd" , "my name hold weight" those are street anthems but also songs that weren't radio friendly, hence the title street anthems. FBG the movie was good, I can't lie. He catered to the streets and put his boys on in the process (Mexico Rann :x Casino :x :x) but he got in a comfortable space being 2013's version of T-Pain. He needs to use this setback as a tool to progress forward which I know he will

So if you're Future; you are better off not going on tour with Drake then going on your with him? It's a simple yes or no

That is all

If you're Future, your situation doesn't change. All Future is missing out on is a check. His fanbase isn't going to change.

Future will be straight. Point. Blank. Period. that was my ultimate point.

Comparing Drake to Future is like comparing Lebron or Kobe to the likes of Toney Douglas.

His shelf life with be short and folks won't even remember him in a few years.

Future did nothing wrong, he was just being honest

Someone already beat you to the punch on this joke I think

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Future said:
“Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do. I want to make you want to fall in love.
I'm gonna need a song and some lyrics to back this up.  Ciara has better songs than him.  Like I said, dude is garbage.  Miguel could've said that with some validity, but Future?

Just because you hold a different opinion doesn't mean he wasn't being honest. If he genuinely feels that way then he's being honest, at least with himself.

I think he said his songs don't make you feel the way his do.

Like I said, refer a song to me then that upholds his opinion that his songs are "possessive"

.  I think the general consensus is that "Too Much," like "Look What You've Done," is relatable and appealed to people's pathos, so I want to hear a song of Future's where the general consensus is it makes you want to fall in love or whatever he was saying...

Bottom line is Future shoulda been smarter; think but don't say it

If I think my boss isn't doing as good a job as I am; I'm not gonna put it in print when he can has the ability to fire me

I'm just disappointed I ain't going to see Future Hendrix do Chosen One, Finessin, Mark McGwire, Bugatti, Karate Chop and Turn On The Lights in an arena.

What he said/how he said it/outlet he chose to speak are all debatable and up to opinion.  But it's pretty much fact to say Future is worse off today then he was a day ago when he was still signed on to open for Drake.  A new semi-mainstream rapper of his caliber is not in any position to lose out on $1,500,000, especially for something so trivial.  Not sure why people are debating this.
