it's so obvious this dude sterling has a master/slave mentality

it's ******* crazy how he's an owner of a sports franchise where the majority of the players are black. it's just so freaky how blatant it is

Sterling's been a racist for years and its been well documented. But how in the hell did he get honored by the NAACP in 2009?

All the black players on the clippers should sit out or atleast lose the next 3 gms

so basically forfeit the games and at the same time impair their own careers?

do you really think that's realistic?
He's thinking as a Lakers fan...

forgive him.
No. Its called REALITY
nah that's a very romantic, sentimental, symbolic thought at best, but that's not reality at all.

But as soon as the season is over, they all need to demand trades. CP3, Blake, Jordan, everyone.

this is viable. have the players on the clippers leave for other teams and put that franchise back into the struggling *** team it once was

Yep. Then that will hurt ticket sales, and TV revenues. Only way to make a scumbag like Sterling feel this is to really hurt his wallet.

Silver answers to the owners, so unless the majority of the owners have a serious issue with this. There won't be a fire lit under his *** to do anything

But I thinks this ends with Sterling getting a "record NBA fine" :rolleyes, aka a slap on the wrist for show

Reality?

Reality for them to sit. Reality for them to lose the next 3 games on purpose.

Okay buddy.

i bet it would really make sterling bad if they all moved to the rival lakers :nerd:
cmon man.

This ain't really a joking matter

He probably paid so many black dudes to run through his girlfriends while he watched, that they considered he was "Proving new economic opportunities for young black men"

Don sounds like he bout that **** life heavy

Sterling is so wealthy there is no amount of boycotting that honestly could "Hurt his wallet / Pocket"

I think this is the type of thing that can bring the clippers together honestly

I think you hit the nail on the head.

IMO, the Clippers having a team meeting about this is just a formality of the situation. I don't think much will be said by any member of the team (odd situation), and they'll sit back and wait for Silver to make a call on what to do about it.

Like I said before, these guys all know who signs their checks. Didn't stop guys on the team from coming via FA or extending their deals. If it was a one-time incident, then yea....maybe you could use the angle of being ignorant to it if you were a player. However, with documented cases of racist behavior from sterling that spans DECADES, there is nothing a current player can say (in my eyes) to make me feel sympathetic to their plight.

These guys are not going to have food taken off of your table based off of principle.

Instead of just the Clippers...if every team in the playoffs said "we ain't playing tell Sterling is gone"...you can bet your *** the NBA would act fast.

i feel donald sterling probably the type to have a collection of IR porn and hooks up with black woman on the side

his mistake was calling out MAGIC, cause you know he is gonna have a response

Owners can still be disciplined by the league though, just see Mark Cuban.

It'll be interesting to see in what capacity they can punish Sterling. Whether it's just monetary or otherwise

Magic did have a response. He said the Clippers have a team of African-American players. No joke.

   I know, why are they saying "allegedly", literally a tape of dude clearly talking

Technically, it's unverified. The media has to say "allegedly".

I'm not saying he didn't do it, but it's just the media protecting themselves. They do it all the time.
